It’s empty in here!
Very good for cat which wants to put a weight on
I fund a stray cat and he was very poorly with not massive chance for survival and after reading reviews on here I tried this food . Cat absolutely craves for it and it’s extremely good for his stomach ( can have 2 pouches at the time ) .I tried all very high expensive brands .Cat was not having none of it which was very upsetting .This one worked out greatly for us . Cat is now 4.5 kg and very very happy so I can switch him to any food.I used the yellow box version only .
My cat detests more expensive food but love this
I tried to wean my cat onto animonda vom feinstein, but he always leaves half of it, and he was getting podgy... so maybe it's too rich? Anyway, he loves this despite me trying to be a better cat-mom by spending more... so it's back to Catessy for me. I supplement with boiled fish or chicken every so often so I feel less guilty about spending so little on his food.... But he is healthy and happy and he gets lots of love.
Brilliant value and high palatability
Rare to find a value product ALL my cats will eat! Well done - this is NOT an easy task. Pleasing our 11 cats is quite a challenge - and Catessy appear to have cracked it!
A Healthier Alternative
Goes down pretty well and no sugar means it's good for his teeth (and belly). Only criticism is that the pouches seem to hold a bit less than 100g, so meal times aren't always equal portions unless you open another pouch!
guzzles it, but demands more..
My cat used to be disinterested in wet cat food til she tried this. At first i was very happy as I like the box so dont mind it hanging around in stacks in the kitchen unlike the posher brands that look like Muscleman protein powder packs. However when I compare the crude protein values of this to dry food I worry. I wouldnt mind if she would eat her 'worthy' (expensive) dry food too but now she only demands this. I love that it has no grain or sugar and a charming old school box but..
My cat loves it
My cats love the jelly version
My cats always loved Lidl premium pouches, but I couldn't always get them. One thing that impressed me is that there are no sugars it it, but it contains inulin (a prebiotic fibre) I realised that Catessy pouches are the same thing as Lidl pouches. Save me a drive to Lidl and I can have it delivered to my door (not to mention that Lidl often sell out of the jelly ones)
It's as good as whiskers. So really good value for money. The chunks are quite big though. Not as good as Felix but as good as whiskers. Really good as a standby.
Looks good cats seem to like the one in sauce will buy again
My cat loves it!
Excellent quality. My cat loves it! I bought this food as a trial and was so nice to see my cat eating it and licking her plate clean.
Very good value
The cheapest wet pouch cat food we keep in the cupboard, but by no means does the price mean that it isn't appreciated by our two British shorthairs. They eat all flavour varieties quite happily.
My cat likes this
I have a 17 year old fussy feline and too my surprise likes this which is a plus because it's grain and sugar free. Hopefully she continues to enjoy it.
Great food at a budget price
My cats love this. I love the fact that it doesn't contain any sugars and it also contains Inulin. I am certain that this is the same food sold in Lidl as Coshida premium pouches.
Finally a grain food food the same costs of the the rubbish you can buy in the super market. Our boy is old and fussy, but loves these pouches to supplement his other dinners (Grau etc). If you toying with the idea of feeding gain free and I would suggest buying a small box of these to try.
Catessy Chunks in Sauce
My cat Tiger always licks his bowl clean and seems to find it really tasty!
My cat enjoys the sauce version, glad to see it back again!! Good value for money. Cat enjoys them, will be back for more.
Great for the price
Cheaper than the usual UK supermarket brands, and no grains or sugar. My cat loves it - the only downside is he now won't eat the other more expensive foods I've bought for him!
19 year old cat loves this
My 19 year old cat became very fussy and went off his supermarket bought cat food. His health check was fine so I decided to buy various taster packs from zooplus to see if any of them were to his fancy. He chose Catessy over all the others, including expensive options like royal canin (which he refused to touch at all). It might not be food specifically designed for older cats with all those extra fancy ingredients the more expensive brands have, but what good is all that if your cat doesn't eat it? He loves this food and it gives him everything he needs, plus the sauce keeps his fluid levels up.
