My cat was diagnosed with a stomach ulcer, so she needs to eat small amounts frequently, and this feeder seemed like the perfect choice. It’s easy to assemble and program, and cleaning it isn’t a hassle either. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out for us because its design isn’t ideal for cats with rounder heads and shorter noses (like British Shorthair, Scottish Fold, Persian, etc.). The food compartment is too deep, so she had trouble eating from it, and as a result, she didn’t finish her portions properly and lost motivation to use it.

The device works well, is easy to fill and clean, and operates quietly and gently. A (major) downside is that you have to set a time interval, and there’s only one option for this. So you can’t set specific feeding times, just “in 6 hours”, after which it will keep running every 6 hours unless you switch it off. Fine if you want to schedule one or two feeding times, but not convenient if you’re away for a night, for example.

I took it for my puppy when she was 3 months old (Labrador). She used it successfully for about 3-4 weeks, then she figured out she could open the box with her teeth and eat all 6 bowls at once... I need to find something sturdier, if you have any recommendations, they would be helpful, thank you!

The product basically works well and I’m satisfied with its performance. However, the top screw cap doesn’t close properly, leaving a gap. This causes moisture to build up inside, which I find quite annoying.
