I've been using this fountain for seven years now. Really solid design. The motor still works perfectly. I give it a thorough clean about every other week. Very satisfied.

Never had any problems with our two units; one for upstairs and one for downstairs. In an ideal world, they would have been made of stainless steel, but I can always buy those later.

For this review, it's important to mention that I am autistic and very sensitive to noise. However, the health of my pets is also extremely important to me. This drinking fountain is almost silent for me, which is truly a blessing. When I set up a new one, I do hear it for a little while, but that disappears after a few hours. The only thing I occasionally hear is a slight vibration, but that's more because of the surface it's on than the fountain itself. Moving it a bit solves the problem.
