Does the job
Exactly right for our cats. Good quality.
Improvements would be:
- some kind of pattern or colour to break up the white enamel (tbh it looks a bit like a urinal); and
- the pump should be triggered by a proximity sensor.

Plug is massive and heavy
The plug is massive and heavy. It requires an adaptor to plug into standard uk socket, and is so heavy it won't stay in the socket without wedging something against it. I like the fountain but the plug is very poor and not even sure it is safe to keep having the plug hanging out

Let down by transformer/adaptor
The cats are very happy with this but it was far from silent – I have fixed this my adding thicker rubber feet and a couple of large rubber bands so that two halves of the fountain don’t come into contact.
The real drawback is the transformer and UK plug adaptor which is terrible – the weight of the transformer means it regularly falls out of the adaptor. Poorly designed, unsightly and dangerous, it lets down an otherwise excellent product.

Exceptionally Quiet Drinking Fountain
Fantastic water fountain, very gentle flow, giving options to drink from the source, gently flowing water, or small pool at the bottom.
Cant believe how quiet this is, I have noted that if I can hear water trickling then its because they have drunk water below the bottom of the top cover, which actually acts as an alert to top up the water so have topped it up. Also use the additional filter in it. 10/10 ****
I have followed the instructions on cleaning, completely changing the water mid-wee

Brilliant
My cat loves this. It took him a week before he was brave enough top go even near it but once he did that was it. He drinks from it all the time now and sometimes has a little play. It is almost silent and the best one I have seen

Been using this for over a year now
Excellent product, well used by my two cats.
It's a shame the pumps are designed by someone who doesn't realise that they need to be taken apart frequently, but once you get into the hang of it, it's OK. The fountain itself is a breeze to clean.
I change the water twice a week and clean pump once a week.
Regarding the adapter, I do agree that it's not great. So I purchased a "battery charger adapter, 3A" which is better built, more compact and has a screw to tighten the adapter to pump plug!

using for 3 years now
I have always used the filter, even though my cat has short hair. i am only on my second pump and it runs 24/7. much easier to clean with the small brush that comes with the replacement tube set. it is heavy, which is what i need as my naughty boy would tip it over otherwise. he uses it all the time, although only drinks from the spout, he plays with the rest!

My Cats love it
My three cats love this. I clean it in the dishwasher once a week, except for the motor parts which I clean with the little brush provided and soapy water. The cats get excited when I am adding the water after I clean it and then jump on it to drink.

Like a mini waterfall for your cats!
I was quite surprised by the size of this fountain when it arrived. Tink in particular was keen to see what was in the box... and of course in true cat style, see if she could also fit in the box. (She could btw, in case you were wondering).
Once I'd got all the items out, I realized this was definitely something you needed to read the instructions for. Not that they were complicated, just that you needed to get the pump & pipes in the right direction. It was a bit fiddly and yes I will admit, I did swear a few times.... but when it's up & running, it's great. And my more 'adventurous' cat Tink (the one still trying to sit in the box), suddenly spotted the running water & was very intrigued. She loves water so this is right up her street. She drinks from this all the time now. I did tell her it was a magical fountain though, and that she would eventually grow fairy wings if she drank from it, so I may have tricked her into drinking from it... just slightly. My other cat Ebony, took a while to come round to the idea of a fountain in the house - she's somewhat timid & suspects EVERYONE - so that wasn't a surprise.
Overall I'd say this was a good purchase though. It's a tad expensive but saying that, it is pretty darn sturdy. Pretty easy to clean just a bit fiddly when you put it back together. I tend to clean it every few days & just top up the water in between. I think what would be good is if they supplied spare tubes/pipes with the product because I just don't have a lot of confidence that the ones it comes with are going to last long due to having to take it apart so often. Also would recommend getting the filter. Again, maybe something that should form part of the whole product really.

Silent, Sturdy and easy to clean
I tried a couple of fountains before this but I have 2 cats who like to 'dig' around before drinking. Other fountains are too light, fall over when pulled by the 'dig', spill everywhere and the motors break. Not possible with this fountain! I've had it over a year now and it runs silently when clean, is very easy to clean and all 3 of my cats love to drink from it. Filter recommended for more than 2 cats using it.

Good so far!
I chose this over others and it seemed likely to be quieter than other designs. I like the ceramic rather than plastic. And no (what seems unecessary) carbon filter to replace.
She normally only drinks from a glass (preferably yours)It took her about a week to figure it out, after trialling various things. She figured it out when she saw me pouring a glass of water into it, and now happily drinks from the fountain.
It's far from silent, but not loud.
Let's see how long the pump lasts, it run

Great fountain, terrible pump
I love this fountain, my cat drinks from it regularly and it stays cold for him, like the bathroom sink. It needs cleaning every other day to keep it from getting manky. The problem I have with it is that I run it constantly and after about 5 months the pump burns out. In the 3 years I have had this fountain I have replaced the pump 5 times

Other cat now likes it too!
Addendum to my review below: Second cat was wary of using the fountain, so I had to maintain separate water bowls for her. And then, all of sudden she started using the Lucky Kitty. Very pleased.

I like it. One cat likes it too.
One cat took to it instantly, the other is ... a work in progress.
It's heavy and I can see how the lid can be fiddly. I washed everything then fit the pump in the EXACT centre of the bowl, connected tube and ran the power cable out the back and filled it with water in situ.
As to cleaning, you've GOT to take the motor apart every week. I've got extra long cotton buds to scrub the tube (which I use for coffee machine). NB: the tube set comes with a brush.
All in all: a quality product.

Great.. Needs a bit of tlc every now and again
This is a great product. It need a bit of tlc every so often. I too had thought my motor had broken, but thanks to mary (comment below) I have done a thorough clean and it's now working well again. You have to make sure the tube is in the right position or you'll get a pathetic dribble... but after looking online and doing a fair bit of fiddling with the annoying tube, I've got the bubbling fountain again. Thanks mary!

Ideal for Persians
This is a terrific fountain. I have two Persian boys - one is a is a 'relatively short" hair - and he loves drinking from the small pool at the bottom. The other is just a ball of fluff and with the previous 'best selling' fountain, he got his fuzzy face completely drenched each time as he had to stick his head in the bottom pool - with this one he laps it up as it comes out of the hole at the top and keeps 90% dry! They are also drinking much more water, which is great.

Excellent fountain
Have had this for about a year. Cat loves it. Just now thought the pump was broken and would need to purchase a replacement. But there is a manual on the lucky kitty website that tells you how to clean it; worked a treat. The link in case anyone thinks their pump is broken or not working effectively: https://www.lucky-kitty.com/tpl/download/Lucky-Kitty-Pumpenpflegehinweis.pdf (It is in German and English)

Instant success!
My cat started drinking from the fountain as soon as she saw it. It was easy to set up, following instructions at www.lucky-kitty.com/en/lucky-kitty/downloads, and is virtually silent in operation. Would be helpful if manual came with fountain - some reviews refer to problems putting fountain together/filling it and I wonder if these have arisen because people haven't had instructions to hand. I also bought the tube cleaner + spare tubes so it should be easy to keep tubes clean.

Not Popular!
My cats love their drinking fountains, but all 5 refused point blank to drink from this one, which is really unusual. I've given 3 stars as the item is excellent quality, just that my menagerie won't have anything to do with it. It could do with having a larger capacity.
