It’s empty in here!
Dog likes the food and Ive been getting this for her since she was a pup. We had problems a few years ago with the seals splitting and we had to replace quite a few. All been well since they changed the manufacturing process, up until now!! Had the same problem with this batch. The seals had gone on the lids. So I will rate as a 4, coz the dog food seems good, but 2nd time Ive had problems with the plastic containers. Zooplus said they will reimburse me for ruined food.
We decided to give this a try because of the great price. So far so good, our dogs seem to enjoy it a lot (and they can be picky sometimes)! We mix it with a quality kibble. The reason why I'm not giving this 5 stars is the white rice. Ingredient list only says "rice" so I assume it's white. I'd much prefer brown rice. Also sometimes you get trays that are almost impossible to open and the plastic cover will just rip, quite annoying! Still, a good dog food for the price!
the smell is absolutely awful. first batch arrived opened , all box was wet , and the smell in our house left for weeks. however we wanted to try again. the second one arrived in perfect condition. opening this food is a nightmare, the smell still disgusting, texture completely mashed. our dog hates it
Our two boxers love this food Thought about trying it myself as they like it that much 😂
I have been using Zooplus now for a few years and they are just great. Many companies are good until something goes wrong then they let you down and show their true colours, not Zoolplus. Because of how much I order something's are bound to go wrong occasionally but this company have always been so helpful and have sorted out any problems very satisfactorily.
My shi tzu of 9 months old was rejecting all food we tried her with only eating small amounts wen she really was persuaded.she was often sick because her stomach was empty.a friend gave me some of her dogs Naturediet to try and I've never seen her enjoy food like it and it continued on each meal.one relieved dog owner and a happy dog 😃
My dogs absolutely love this food and they are very fit and well on it and their coats gleam. I have been using this food for 8 years.
My lovely old Boxer has recovered health and joie de vivre since transferring to NatureDiet. She's become positively skittish again. The quality is so good she needs less and it works out about the same as her old cheaper food. Great to see her enjoying her food again.
My dog loves this dog food but the container is a joke it says peel here and I have to use a pair of pliers to pull it open often it just splits good product but poor opening
This is just what I make myself. A single source of meat, brown rice and vegetables. Its excellent food, pleases my three dogs and saves me time.
This is a great food at a great price. My 3 dogs really like it and it's gentle on the tummy I get the chicken one. Wholesome ingredients no maize cereals etc just chicken rice and veg with bonemeal which is good for calcium. Will buy more. Wish zooplus did a bigger than 36 pack in chicken.
Fantastic food, have tried every food under the sun for our very fussy rescue dog and I was beginning to get very downhearted and worried because he wouldn't eat anything but since getting and feeding him naturediet he is now eating and looks forward to meal times when he used to run away! It's a much more pleasurable experience feeding him now because I used to get incredibly frustrated with worry so I am one happy customer and thanks to zooplus for their speedy delivery and continuous service
Fussy Bichon loves it. Decided to give it a try due to the high protein content. My girl is feeding pups at the moment and I needed to find something she will actually eat, rather than turning her nose up at! She loves the stuff, bowl always licked clean. Puppies are at weaning age now and I was wary about letting them eat this from her bowl, was planning to buy the naturediet puppy for them, however I've just compared ingredients and found that 'adult' and 'puppy' are identical.
This is the best food I've ever found for our labradoodle who's tummy was always upset with every other food I tried
Our dog has developed intolerance of wheat or beef. This food is quite expensive, but not as expensive as continued vet visits and belly aches for our dog. We are fully on this one now and beginning to experiment with the other flavours. Zooplus always seem to deliver for us and laos help us afford what is good for our pet
My 2 German Shepherds love this food except for the fish & prawn flavour yet they love fresh fish & prawns, great price on Zooplus with free delivery too.
I bought this when my dog was having some issues with his anal glans. I thought the added bone meal might help keep things firm. I was right. This is also my Alaskan Malamute's favourite wet dog food flavour. Please note: I'm only talking about the Rabbit and Turkey flavour; he absolutely hates the Fish and Salmon flavours and I'm not too disappointed because those flavours STINK! The Rabbit one doesn't smell too bad (thank goodness).
My Toby lives this food. His favourite is the rabbit and Turkey. I use Wagg all in one feed and mix a Tiny bit of natures diet and he loves it. I have noticed since going on natures diet Tobys coat has improved
Bought this food for our labradoodle puppy after being sick of trying so many foods that didn't agree with her she's now thriving on this food and jumps around the kitchen as soon as she sees it!
I have an Alaskan Husky who has had problems with his tummy & went off his normal (Natures Instinct) raw food diet when he got ill. I have tried numerous replacement foods from Lukullus & Rocco to Gran Carno & Natures Menu. He always had to be coaxed to eat the first 2 & wouldn't even entertain Gran Carno, although he didn't mind Natures Menu, he wasn't overly fussed. But this stuff he loves and wolfs down, all except the fish, & I have to say myself that's the most revolting thing I've ever smelt, no wonder he won't eat it lol, we put that out for the birds.
i wouldn't use it one it's own as it's not really balanced food but we use a small amount with a higher protein food - Orijen or Acana - as the dogs enjoy it more than dry food alone. If they have a stomach upset we use the chicken & rice as it's nice & mild & cheaper than the stuff the vet gives us! Beware the fish & rice as it is really smelly - stinks the house out!
I often check dog food as I have found particularly with the cheaper dog food there are a lot of bulking ingredients which have little or no nutritional value to the dog, e.g. cereal, maize etc. I attended a lecture on dog food and since then I have been very vigilant when reading the ingredients in dog food. This is great dog food. I have a 60kg Alaskan Malamute and he eats a fair amount of food. These are not only good value but the ingredients are good quality, natural and my dog certainly loves it! The reason I have given it 4 stars and not 5 stars, is that it is a large pack size at 390g, during winter my dog will eat two a day, however, for summer months the food is cut down. It would be good if they offered a mid size packet.
I have 2 young mini jack russells, typically fussy, been through most dry & wet foods and ended up mostly wasted. Tried most of these, indeed the lamb version is still sitting there after 2 days untouched. The Chicken & Lamb variety of this product is the one food I can guarantee that over 2 or 3 days will be eaten. What I do is upon opening cut into quarters, cling film 3 of them and put in the fridge, and cut the one quarter up for eating, if they finish one then out comes another quarter, keeps it fresher during 2 or 3 days and little is left to waste, win-win all round for me & my dogs.
I tried this mixed trial pack on my our dogs and they liked the Chicken and Vegetable also Rabbit and Turkey and I went ahead and have bought two packs of those two flavours.Dogs very happy on this food and eat all their food.So my search for something that they would all eat and seems to be good wholesome quality food.
After trying several wet foods that would suit my four dogs,Jack Russell.Chihuahua,Tibetan Spaniel and Chorkie and all fussy eaters. I bought the Naturediet Mixed Trial Pack and they liked it, especialy the Chicken and Vegetables and Rabbit and Turkey. So I have since bought those flavours and they are all thriving well and finishing all their meals leaving licked clean bowls.
My dogs love this trial pack of 6. It gives them a different flavour each day so they don't get bored, plus its cheaper than the standard 6 pack of one flavour - everyone's a winner!
Since putting my dog on the food he has done fantastically, his coats looks healthier, his general apperance has improved. I have no seen any downside to feeding this food at all and would recommend it to everybody.
My English Setter is a very picky eater and I almost felt guilty at trying to make him eat dog food - but now - Naturediet! What a difference, he sits by me whilst I get it out of the packet, eyes bright and eager, the plate is licked clean and all the bits licked up! Plus the real bonus, no more tummy problems, I have tried all the other good quality food, some of which has been better than others but nothing has been as good as this or worked as quickly. My problems are over! I recommend it to you wholeheartedly.
My Staffie bitch is not a picky eater, but she's no 'labrador-type hoover' either; she knows what she likes. Fortunately, she likes the chicken and turkey/rabbit flavours, and scoffs the lot.
My 2 Shih-tzu's are very different ,1 eats anything ,the other has to be hand fed and is extremely fussy .They will eat all the flavours ,except neither will eat the fish one .The are much healthier & happier on this than any other food we have tried.
I have been feeding my Jack Russell this food as a puppy and now as an adult, because I like the ethos of the company and the quality of the food. However, he does NOT like it and only eats it under sufferance. This is the lamb flavour. I have just ordered the mixed trial pack and will see if the other flavours are more enjoyed by him. If so, I will update this review. Otherwise, it is off to try yet another brand!
I add this food to royal Canin boxer to make the taste variable, I have 2 boxers 1 who is a very fussy eater, he loves this food it is a good mixer as it is a pâté and with a little water mixed in, it sticks to the dry food changing the flavour so it is less boring every day, it is excellent value for money as the packs are larger than most 390g and is one of the few with a 60 per cent meat content, look at your dog product you will be surprised some have as little as 3 percent meat,
a little too rich just now,so i give him mixer to get the best of both
My 7 month old can be fussy and although she's never particularly enthusiastic when I present this to her, she eventually eats it mixed with some Burns. She hates the fish one though, not keen on the lamb, and prefers the chicken to all the others.
This is a great dog food, excellent quality ingredients and wolfed down by our fussy new greyhound. The problem with the lids WAS a real nuisance (using a sharp knife run around the edge is better than scissors), but in recent batches it hasn't been as issue. They tear open just as they should.
My 3 dogs love this they always try and come back for more, I have 2 lurchers and a dalmation and they way they eat it you would think there was nothing else in the world, it's great when mixed with their fav dry mix as well
I have tried numerous wet and dry foods for my fox terrier pup and he loves this stuff. I mix it with a handful of Origen dry puppy food and it works a treat. It lasts well in the fridge and each pack does 4 meals when mixed with the dry food so works out to be very cost effective.
I have two lurchers and they can be picky, but I got Naturediet for them to try and to see if it would help their tummys. Well it worked and I can saftly say I will be getting it again.
My 4 year old golden retriever has been suffering with regular stomach upsets (diarrohea) since he was about 18 months old. I have changed his diet from Nutro, to Burns but he still became ill for no apparent reason. However, since I have put him on Naturediet (2 cartons a day) he has not had a stomach upset - and this has been 9 months. And my dog loves it - he has the lamb and rice - long may it continue. So if you and your dog are going through similar health issues, its worth a try.
I have 3 adorable staffs, 2 are rescued, 1 has a very sensitive tummy due too dreadful neglect from previous owners, the other rescued angel had too eat scraps from bins so she was hyper, bloated and had dreadful table manners!! i only buy them this wet food and a very high quality food plus good quality treats from this web site, i have 3 beutiful dogs that people comment on and their behaviour is impeccable.
