It's true that the previous ageing food with square, soft kibbles was addictive, but both my 14-year-old cat and my 5-year-old cat really like this one. I have read that for the 5-year-old it might lack some vitamins and minerals, plus she's a very active cat, so I supplement it with Felix tuna sachets or chicken or lamb delights, or even boiled chicken that I make myself. But honestly, it smells good and has a bit of fat, and they really like it.

My 17- and 18-year-old cats eat it, but they're not crazy about it; they liked the previous Royal Canin 12+ cushions more.

I have a 19-year-old cat who’s had all her teeth removed. She really enjoys eating this food, and since she started on it, she’s even gained some weight. I’m very happy that she eats it so willingly. Completely satisfied.

Cat’s acceptance of the food

Cat is eating quite well again, without vomiting... After a gallbladder infection, she's maintaining her weight. After about 4 weeks of mixing with the old Royal Canin food, he actually likes eating this!

My cat is 15.5 years old. When I realised that Royal Canin had changed their ‘line’, I was a bit worried that my cat wouldn’t get used to it anymore. But nothing could be further from the truth. He absolutely loves it and is actually eating better because of it. His stools are also better and more consistent. Really happy with this 15+ variant!

Our almost 20-year-old tomcat, who has various health issues, mainly gets this as a snack. He tolerates it better than anything else, and it’s gentle on both his kidneys and pancreas. It is quite pricey, but at the same time, it’s the only food that still works for him.
