Disappointed
Since the product changed (senior ageing stuffed), it's been really hard to feed my tiny old kitty (1.9kg). She only nibbles when she's really hungry and meows in front of her bowl. I still had some of the old ones left, so I mix them in little by little... Why did you stop a product that worked so well?

So disappointed
I used to always buy the Ageing 12+ kibble because it was the only soft one my cats could manage – both of them are missing teeth, like a lot of older cats. Now I’ve noticed this version isn’t just harder, but people are also saying it’s greasy!
That’s no good for older cats who struggle to chew and need more moisture, not more oil.

Kibble my pet doesn't like anymore
These kibbles, older cats don’t want them. BUT WHY DID ROYAL REMOVE THE ONES WITH THE SOFT CENTRE? I used them for years with different cats, they were expensive but they ate them.

doesn't want to eat
My 21-year-old cat doesn't want to eat it. The previous one was definitely better.

Aging 15+
Totally refused, my 16-year-old cat used to love eating the previous product.
Such a shame, now I have to look for another senior food.

Terrible
I’m forced to buy these because the previous ones, which my two cats could eat easily, have been discontinued and replaced with these, which are round and really hard. I first tried the +11 ones and they wouldn’t touch them, but these they just swallow without chewing! Please reconsider bringing back the old ones, or at least change the shape and texture of these—there are cats that have trouble chewing!!!

Don't like them anymore
My cats used to go crazy running for those two square kibbles with the soft centre, now they just sniff them and walk away, they eat them reluctantly and they’re left in the bowl. The old ones used to stimulate their appetite and my cats were in better shape, more lively and their fur looked nicer. With these, they’re uninterested and their fur looks worse.
It’s a real shame they got rid of the old recipe.

Unfortunately, minus stars aren’t possible – totally refused
Unfortunately, there’s no option for negative stars. My cat completely refused the food. It’s nothing like Aging +12. Really, really disappointing, especially since I had great experiences with the “old” Aging +12 over the years with many senior cats (good acceptance, little vomiting). When I contacted Royal Canin, they told me the food had been scientifically optimised and that I just needed to keep trying for a while, then my old cat (15) would eventually eat it. Honestly, the only thing that helps: don’t buy it!

Pillows returned
These new Ageing 11+ and 15+ are complete failures. The previous Ageing 12+ was our cats’ absolute favourite out of all dry foods, but they won’t even touch these new versions.

12+ must go back
Our almost 17-year-old cat used to eat the 12+ variety really well. The shape also forced her to chew. They were also nice and soft.
We tried the 15+ variety. The kibbles are rock hard. And very small, so now she swallows everything quickly in one go and then, after the bowl is empty, she throws it all up again.
We’re also looking for alternatives, but haven’t found any, so we’re seeing our cat lose weight.
The 12+ kibble was just perfect in terms of shape and softness for older cats.

So much worse
Not a replacement for the previous Aging Food Pouches. Unfortunately, my 13-year-old cat still has some molars left due to FORL and was able to chew the previous 12+ food pouches well with her remaining teeth. These ones are hard as stone!
Production is probably too expensive, or why else would they stop making a food that was selling well? I just don’t get it...

Terrible kibble
This is the first time I’ve written a negative review for a Royal Canin product.
They split and ruined what used to be a perfect product, Ageing +12.
Now my cat hates the new +11 and even +15.
They must have changed the formula as well as the shape, from rectangular to round.
I hope they reconsider and go back to the old version.

Czeizler
Our cats gave their opinion about it – they don’t like it and are asking for the 12+ dry food back.
