A terrible change – The previous filling was essential
All the cats used to eat the square treats much better, they don’t want this one. The silly response from the company is that cats prefer them round—so I guess that’s why almost all the snacks they love are square, so they’ll like them less. And what happened to the filling the square ones had?

Disappointed
My old cats had been eating with gusto ever since I’d stumbled upon the Ageing Filled range by chance. Unfortunately, that range has been discontinued and I tried these ones instead. No luck—they won’t eat them.

New formula for senior food
My older cat absolutely loved the previous version, age 12+. She could easily bite the square kibbles, the inside was softer, and she digested them well. I’ve been searching for a good alternative for ages now, but unfortunately, no luck. Why change a kibble that sells well if it makes the cats worse off???

Still on the lookout
Has smaller pellets that are easier to chew, which was a plus. But why are the first ingredients wheat, wheat gluten and maize again? Cats don’t eat grains. That just leads to allergies all over again.

Previous model was better
My cats don’t like this dry food. The previous one was a hit. We’re switching to another brand.

Why does everything always get worse when they try to improve it?
We’ve had a huge problem ever since RC took the 12-year food off the market. Our almost 17-year-old tomcat is really struggling to adjust to new food, as he gets diarrhoea from every type. This one, after just three days of feeding, is causing such bad bloating that the poor guy can’t settle down, just wanders around and meows loudly.
I won’t be feeding it anymore and am urgently looking for something else.
