Good and tasty for my 17+ cat

My elderly cat started eating with more difficulty and could no longer tolerate the food she was used to. She seemed hungry, was vomiting more often, and meowed a lot. Since switching to Royal Canin 15+ kibble two months ago, she’s eating much better and digesting everything more easily. She looks healthier and her coat is shiny. I’m so relieved!

Disappointed

Since the product changed (senior ageing stuffed), it's been really hard to feed my tiny old kitty (1.9kg). She only nibbles when she's really hungry and meows in front of her bowl. They really like it

It's true that the previous ageing food with square, soft kibbles was addictive, but both my 14-year-old cat and my 5-year-old cat really like this one. I have read that for the 5-year-old it might lack some vitamins and minerals, plus she's a very active cat, so I supplement it with Felix tuna sachets or chicken or lamb delights, or even boiled chicken that I make myself. But honestly, it smells good and has a bit of fat, and they really like it.

Both love food

Both my cats are around 16 years old. One of them also has thyroid issues and a bit of a problem with her liver. Both are veeeery picky when it comes to food, but they absolutely love this dry food and didn’t even want to eat their “old” food anymore during the transition. They also love the wet food.

A terrible change – The previous filling was essential

So disappointed

I used to always buy the Ageing 12+ kibble because it was the only soft one my cats could manage – both of them are missing teeth, like a lot of older cats. Now I’ve noticed this version isn’t just harder, but people are also saying it’s greasy! That’s no good for older cats who struggle to chew and need more moisture, not more oil.

Elli loves it

Elli is now 19 and this is the only food that has helped us get her chronic diarrhoea under control. Terrible

I’m forced to buy these because the previous ones, which my two cats could eat easily, have been discontinued and replaced with these, which are round and really hard.
