It’s empty in here!
Tuna variety Thrive treats (closely followed by the chicken) are my cat’s absolute favourite - she turns her nose up at most other similar products and gobbles these down as fast as she can. However, the most recent tuna tubes I’ve bought have not been as good quality & inedible - they’re hard, irregular shaped & not as recognisable as decent pieces of protein as they used to be.
Excellent, my kittens learned very quickly to come indoors when I rattled the tube. Now they know when I pick it up!
good quality product and both my Siamese cats love 'pawing' their way through the different board parts to get some extra food treats.
I always renew my order with these but my kitty only likes the white fish ones ... please stock them again!
I feed my kitten these & also the Chicken Liver variety. The Chicken liver ones are a better size & she likes the taste better. These chicken flavour are great quality, but an inconsistent size. I break up some of the larger pieces for her.
My kittens LOVE these. I bought them as a one-off in the supermarket for £3 a pack. I'm so glad Zooplus does this saver pack - great value. My cats Yes, they're a little expensive but it's worth it for 100% meat. Some of the pieces are large so I do need to break them up. These can cause some flakes of chicken to fall on the floor. There's also a fair bit of chicken "dust" in the bottom of the container. I just sprinkle this on their food. Expensive but so so worth it!
Got the chicken flavour as a gift with loyalty points and both cats went mad for them, even the fussy one who usually takes her time with new things couldn't eat them fast enough!
All cats are different, they won't 100% eat everything. My cat for one absolutely adores these, any flavour. In fact he likes all thrive products (except the samon dry food lol) He drools and gobbles these up, again, all cats are different.
Disappointed with my cat's reaction. He will retrieve treats from the zigzag and wave areas but only made one attempt to get food from the bells and didn't like the experience. The thought using his tongue to get treats out did not occur to him. Have tried to encourage him but he is not interested in making the effort.
We’ve tried all flavours and our cats love them so much they come running as soon as they hear the sound of the lid popping open! The white fish and the chicken do seem special favourites but all are very good.
Stan was trained on homemade activity boards with sunken yoghurt pots & stacked toilet roll tubes. He likes his food & quickly got the hang of them so was progressed onto this. Thought he might struggle as he's not exactly dainty but BOOM!! Was straight in on all the challenges, no problems at all. Funny as he's not into regular cat toys, but this was like watching a master at work. Does slow him down enough for our other furrball to enjoy his food in peace.
I love the concept of this. However my two kittens are just not interested. They sniff and move on no matter what tempting treats I use. Hoping when they get older it will be more useful
it took some time for my cat to figure it out , but now can get the food out of the plastic balls etc which has slowed her eating down
All of my 4 cats love this the bowls are a bit of a challenge for them but they watch each other and learn how to get them out, good team work 😹
Our cat will do almost anything for a thrive and loves them more than Dreamies!
My cat adores these. She knows the 'shake hands for a treat' trick and the moment these comes out, she's reaching for my hand to shake because she knows treats come after that. Chicken liver is her very favourite. I appreciate the fact that they're very wholesome and healthy - which is good, because a couple of times she's run off with the tube to open it behind the sofa and scoff the lot.
It improves cognitive function and dexterity. One can keep an eye on elderly cats in declining health by simply observing how they use this feeder. In fact, my cats are all rather obsessed with it, they prefer to have their biscuits hidden in and around the board as opposed to thrown into their bowls. Also, and just as important, is that the cats have to work for their food and are less likely to gobble the lot up in seconds, thus resulting in far less vomiting afterwards. Brilliant!
These are the best treats on the market, being healthy and nutritious too - 100% pure chicken. They are formed lumps of freeze dried chicken breast - which can also be crumbled between your fingers to use a topping for cat food. Also very good for retrieving your cat if he /she won't come home - simply shake the tube - and they will come running excitedly at the sound! Only problem is that they are a bit expensive, but if you buy the 5 pack, it saves on the costs.
Both my cats love these treats. I sprinkle a cube onto their regular tired food - it always tempts them to their dishes. It is expensive but it must be delicious because my cats never tire of the taste.
Challenging for almost any cat, keeps them amused
We had only re-homed Mary for a few days when this activity was delivered, we bought it as she was using one at the Cats Protection Adoption Centre. She loves us to sit with her to do this, she completes all, just finding the bowls more difficult. This has been a great buy, it keeps her entertained, builds our friendship, is easy to clean and looks neat.
My kitten loves playing with this activity interactive games, using cat treats they love fishing for them as an incentive. I find my kitten likes this but my full grown cat finds his paws a little big to get into all the areas.
My moggy goes mental or these, he's a bit of a treat snob and turns his nose up at most treats. My two mainecoons will take them or leave them, they're not fussy and will eat anything! Much cheaper on here than in pets at home too :)
Looking at the other reviews, these treats seem to be like marmite, cats either love or hate them. Mine loves them since I first tried them. I give my ragdoll the chicken and fish flavours (and he follows me around the house if he sees me holding the packet!) but will be trying the others too. The pack seems small but the pieces are actually quite big, so I tend to break them up when I give them to him.
I bought this for my old moggies some 6 years ago and they never really cottoned on and I put it in the shed. However I now have two tonkinese kittens who are very intelligent and playful, I showed them what to do once with the globe spheres and they got it immediately, but today they have worked out the hardest compartments too. They are at the 'hollow leg' stage so I think I will be feeding half their biscuits on this from now on, even though they are only 15 weeks;Need more complex one now!
Our vet gave our kittens these when they went for their first jabs and they liked them so we bought a few tubes. Now they LOVE them and go absolutely nuts just when we shake the tube!
Ollie absolutely goes made for these! As an oriental he has the typical small jaw bad teeth problem, & has had 4 removed over the years. I find these treats do not hurt his gums or teeth, but still require a chew, to keep teeth in use! Love the fact they are purely fish or meet, no nasties. Reasonable price when bought via Zooplus too, wish the white fish came in XXL tub!
I love this. My cats have all their meals on it. The tom cat is a greedy fast eater and his mum is a slow eater. I used to find that he would scoff all his and then go and raid her bowl. Now I have a divider down the middle of this feeder and hers is just on the edge of her side but his meal is distributed amongst all the different puzzles. It slows down his eating and is more satisfying. Always use Iams. Easy to wash in dishwasher. A fabulous product. Well recommended.
one of the highest quality treats on the market, my cats go crazy when I shake the tube before going out. I give thrive treats 4 stars instead of 5 as they are dusty sometimes as well as chicken bits fall apart sometimes in my hands. forgot to mention that I came across realy bad quality fish treats once, they were not as dry as usual, quite moist and brownish, maybe there was an issue with the packaging.
Thrive treats are great because they are healthy and versatile. They are simply freeze dried meat so they have no grain or rubbish filler ingredients and they can be crunched up as a topper for wet or dry food. My cat is VERY fussy but these are always a hit. He also has a sensitive stomach but these do not ever make him sick. They are also ideal for putting in puzzle feeders. Simply a fantastic product!
This activity board is great! My cat purrs while he works away at trying to get treats out of the different sections! There is a good mixture of easier and harder areas on the board. It seems strong and looks like it will survive being pulled about by my 6kg monster-cat! Really speedy dispatch from Zooplus, couldn't be happier!
My cat loved these and more so than Dreamies and he loves those too! Liver was the flavour we tried for him. He even tried raiding the tube in the middle of the night. Ordering more. Going to try different flavours.
I wanted to be able to give my diabetic cat an occasional treat...and recently discovered Thrive cat treats. Jaffa absolutely loves the tuna flavour and even after the short time he's had them, he recognises the tube! I'm going to send for more so that I have them in the house when I want to treat him.
Our cat just loves Thrive treats! He gets excited even looking at the Thrive container, and he comes running when the container is rattled, no matter where he is! AND the snack is healthy too. Wonderful product!
one of my cats go ape for these. if I need to get him in at night I just open the door and rattle the box and he comes pelting over the back wall. must have great hearing! my other cat does not like the texture as once he touches it with his mouth he drops it again. but if I sprinkle it over his wet food it adds to the aroma and he likes it. so for anyone trying to get their cat to eat more wet this works a treat!
They'll even break the cupboard with all of their paws!
My 7 month old ragdoll can't get enough of these, he used to only really eat dry food but if you sprinkle these (they are freeze dried so break up easily) on top of his wet food, the whole bowl is gone and he's crying for more. If like me, you're always needing to spend an extra few pounds to get free postage, pop one of these in your basket and you can't go wrong (I have tried fish and chicken on my kitten) I'm going to try the wet food next as all their food is just 100% meat/fish
Sylvie would kill for these treats! She's 5 now and has been getting them from age 5 months! She won't eat any other treats. I'm happy with them because they are natural and low in fat. I notice complaints about tubes being half full - tubes are filled to the weight advertised and some pieces are heavier than others. There is no cheating going on - I've weighed them to check!
