Savic Nestor Cat Litter Box

Very good my 2 cats love the new toilet ...More space and higth is perfect for them . 20kg clumping cat litter to fill the tray and no more litter outside de tray

I have a kitten who is growing by the second and needed something bigger and covered. He doesn't like the flap so that is easily resolved. It is big and of a sturdy design. Yes, the filter isn't the easiest of things to get in but personally I think that this is good value for money. I am also impressed with the the service of Zooplus. Quick dispatch and delivery, and purchased quite a few items. All are reasonably priced and of decent quality.

I am ordering a second one for my 2 elderly cats who seldom go outside now. The original is 3 years old. I am sure people are putting the door on the wrong way round if it does not fit. I did first time! The side clips are fine as long as you align them on the base correctly. They are bound to break if you force them.

Fantastic value for money. Easy to clean and great size for a Maine Coon. Actually keeps the litter inside which is a miracle.

Some bad reviews on here but both kitties have taken to this no problem once they'd learnt what a cat flap is! Usually enjoy tormenting each other by trapping each other in it too! Yes clips are a bit flimsy but should last as long as you're a bit more gentle with them. Cats obviously still managing to get litter everywhere but that's because that's their specialised skill.

Nice and high at the back so liquid stays in the tray rather than leaking outside. very good for two large male cats.

I had reservations after reading the negative reviews here, but fortunately they have proven unfounded. Yes, the door doesn't close tightly, but the cat doesn't seem to mind. The filter takes care of any odour problems, and provided you handle the thing normally, it's perfectly sturdy. I am the clumsiest person alive and I have yet to break it. Would recommend.

I also have a more attractive box, but it's lower & smaller, & they definitely prefer this one, especially the extra depth at the back which is where they prefer to go anyway. The plastic is very smooth & easy to keep clean. The catches are a bit fiddly, but it's not a problem, & once they're definitely latched it's easy to lift with the handhold under the filter. It's good value all round.

So much lighter in weight and less cumbersome than the previous litter boxes. Such a great price too, I just hope they're still on the go when I need to replace these two.

As has been said before, the main problems with this box is that the flap does not fit properly. It is constantly partly open. The catches are also difficult to open and close. I use 11 litter boxes/trays and there are much better ones than this.

I have just previously posted that this litter box has a poorly fitting door and overly tight clips at the side. On consideration, after re-reading one of the posts on here and seeing photos of other boxes, I find that I also have had the door on the wrong way round and, after changing it I find it fits perfectly!! I was given this box already assembled and didn't give it a thought but it does, perhaps, prove the need for assembly instructions. I stand by my comment that the clips, whilst not impossible to open and close, could be easier.

this looks amazing in my black and cream utility room,very easy to clean out and doesnt leak around seals when my birman raises her botty whilst spending a penny! very quick delivery,well packed and easy to put together

I bought this litter tray because we have 3 cats, two of which are large Norwiegan Forest cats and our litter tray was no longer suitable. It was bigger than I realised and is excellent...no more kitty *accidents*.

Very happy that I got this box though I was considering an open litter box at first. If you have a place in your toilet (and it really is not that big!) then for sure buy the closed one! Keeps the smells inside and easy to use :) Recommend it!

What I really liked about this litter (apart from the price) was the fact that the door piece raised so high and out of the way. Our new cat had never been used to using a litter and for a start we just had the tray, which was fine, apart from the fact that the litter went everywhere when she covered up. This new litter has introduced her slowly to having a hood over the top. Now all I have to find is a suitable mat so it doesn't tread off her paws.

This box represents good value for money. The lid felt a little flimsy but once assembled it was fine - this is a very sturdy litter box. My only gripe is that the catches are not of the quality I was expecting. I had assumed they would resemble the catches on a Savic cat carrier. They are a bit fiddly to start with but fine once you get the hang of them. The filter in the lid really does work! Wish I'd bought one years ago! Best of all the cats have taken to this new covered tray straight away. NB. The Savic ASEO litter tray is exactly the same size/shape as the base on the Savic Nestor - you just need to remove the rim on the ASEO and the Nestor lid fits perfectly.

It is a bit bigger than looks pictured.. but is very sturdy. I was disappointed when my cat got in it and still tracked litter out with it...(mainly our point in buying a covered litterbox). We will try it for now...

The only thing that's a bit awkward is the top part for the filter. I just laid it on top and wedged it into the corners—hopefully it'll stay. But it's not a big deal.

The front part is very low and the cat throws the litter out.

It keeps the smell in so you can hardly tell you have a cat. I have a male cat who's 14 months old and I've had the litter box for about 10 months.

After 4 months of use, the bottom of the litter box cracked near the legs.

The litter box is big enough for a medium-sized cat and fits nicely in the corner. However, after a year, first one, then the second lid latch broke. They really need to come up with a better solution for that. Also, the rim should be higher, because my cat sometimes pees against the edge and often over it. Other than that, it's a good product.

Very good value for money, my cat is happy with it! We wanted to switch to a bigger litter box and this one is spacious—my cat has plenty of room. The only downside is that the door doesn’t close properly, but that’s just a minor detail.

Since my cat has started peeing standing up lately, this litter box is perfect for making sure her pee doesn’t leak out. It works really well!

The litter box is just what you’d expect. It’s big enough for my tomcat, and thanks to the hood, most things stay inside even without attaching the flap. He’s a trained civil engineer, and apparently the litter box has to be rebuilt every day too.

You can lift the top part, which makes cleaning easier. I like that it has a high back, so nothing leaks out. There is quite a big gap between the flap and the bottom part, but I don't see much difference in the amount of litter scattered around compared to my previous litter box, which had a flap all the way down. In my opinion, it's a good option, and my cats like it too.

Don't buy this! It's a very spacious litter box, but the flap doesn't close. There's always a gap left open, so the smell doesn't stay inside the box. The odour filter is useless if the flap stays open. My advice: buy the Catit Jumbo, it's a much better litter box!!

I liked it, the box is spacious but there's nothing champagne pink about it. It's a dark beige, and the Tuscan red is also MUCH darker. I was disappointed because I wanted soft pastel shades. But I don't think the cat will stop using it because of that, and returning it is a hassle, so I'll just leave it be.

My cat sometimes pees standing up against the back, and this litter box leaks really badly!!

Easy to assemble, really beautiful design, but honestly it's very big. But my cat loves it, it's a great litter box!

Super cat litter box, easy to clean, really good

It's a large litter box with plenty of space, even for a big cat. Unfortunately, the odour filter does nothing to keep the smell out, since the cat flap has a big opening at the bottom. You can actually see it in the product photos. There's no difference in smell compared to when there's no door at all. Also, other reviewers are right that, for some reason, the door starts falling off very quickly. I think I'll end up buying another litter box, which is a shame, as this one wasn't cheap.

It works really well, overall I gradually introduced assembling the litter box so my cat would know it's the same thing. You can move it around, take out the little door, which is really convenient for me, and it's a good idea to order this set to start with because it includes other things in the price too :D I recommend it.

Perfect for a first cat. So far, he's only used it without the lid, but it doesn't seem to bother him. In the next few days, we'll try closing it as well.
