Disappointment
I'm disappointed with my purchase. The hay really looks like cut grass (thin and short). It's full of grass dust. My guinea pigs won't eat it. I use it as a top layer over the wood litter. It's softer that way.

Great as a base

Good price
I only buy it because with 6 guinea pigs and 2 hamsters, I go through it in industrial amounts!
But the contents aren’t always the same:
when I’m lucky, I get a fairly good product, but often I end up with bags of hay that look more like straw and are full of sticks or stones, which just add to the weight and leave me with less actual product.

They've changed the formula
We bought this hay for quite a few months because it was cheap and our rabbits liked it, but then they stopped selling it for a while. When it came back, we bought it again, but the formula had changed. Now the quality is terrible, it doesn’t even smell like hay, and my rabbits hate it—they’d rather go hungry. On top of that, it’s full of little thistle-like balls that stick everywhere, even to my rabbits’ fur, and they’re really hard to remove. We even had to cut some out of their fur once.
