I have two cats, and both of them absolutely love this scratch post. They were using it within 30 seconds of me assembling it. My Maine coon loves it as it's tall enough for him to be able to stretch properly. It's really really good value - I bought one several years ago and it lasted for a very long time, and this replacement is just as popular as the first one. Would highly recommend this!

At first this seemed comically tall, but the height is actually a huge plus because my cat can stretch out when she's Scratching.

This is our second one of these. Our other lasted 2 years with two cats. It’s a great scratch post, very sturdy and big. The cats love stretching out on it. Delivery was very fast and I was kept well informed of when it would be.

I bought this post to replace another, which was too small for my long cat. The scratching post fits securely into the base and does not move when my cat uses it. I've not had the scratch post for long but the sisal has not frayed. The illustration shows a cat sitting on the top of the post. There is no way my cat would try to do this on such a narrow post.

The photo doesnt do it justice! Its big thick massive one, my cats are very happy with it its lovely soft to touch at top and bottom and ruff for they're claws in the middle! Fab buy

I bought this post as a replacement for one I have had for 3 years. The height is much smaller with far less sisal the colour is also not dark grey but brown . Extremely disappointed, I will be returning. First time I have ever been disappointed with your products.

This is smaller than the previous posts and the sisal is poor quality, coming apart very quickly. The fabric at the top has split and the whole thing is a waste of money.

Like some other reviewers this was a follow-up to an earlier version and its construction is not as solid. Original was two pieces. This is four pieces, presumably for ease of transport. It can and does take the weight of NFC's but the sisal has given up far too quickly. Have just ordered the zoolove Scratching Post XXL with 1cm diameter sisal as a replacement. More expensive certainly, but you do get what you pay for.

I didn't check the measurements before I ordered this so when it arrived I was surprised at how large it is! I'm glad I got it though because the size is actually just right. My cats get a good stretch using it and one of them loves to climb all the way up and perch on top. After a few months' use it still looks great and is still very sturdy.

We have two 6-month-old cats and needed them to stop scratching the sofa before the upholstery started to show the damage so ordered this. I didn't check the measurements and was slightly taken aback by how tall it is but I'm glad I got it because I think the large size is really an advantage. The little cat started using it within about 2 minutes and then figured out how to climb up and perch on top! Her brother took a few days to figure out what it was for but both of them have stopped scratching the sofa now so I'm really pleased. I'm planning to mount a shelf on the wall above so they can run up the post and jump onto the shelf which I think they'll really enjoy.

I've had this tree for half a year now and it's called into action several times a day. It's so stable that my Norwegian Forest Cat can jump on it without knocking it over. The finish is very good and you can hardly tell it's been used after half a year. Holds firm even when both of my cats are playing on/with it. I can only recommend it.

Neat and robust cat tree. Perfectly adequate. High enough for cats to stretch and scratch like they would against a tree. We've had it for roughly 4 years and the sisal is only loose in one or two places. Good quality finish. Stable enough for bigger cats.

Our British Shorthair kitten Chesney loves this post. He often runs up and down it and sits on top. He was always trying to sit on his smaller scratching posts but this one is so big he has a much higher success rate! The base is a good size so his hind claws are well off the carpet when he does his claws too. Excellent!!

My two kittens absolutely love this post, it's great to play chase up and down and launch themselves off the top. Lily sits there waiting for eye level cuddles. My two senior cats have a good stretch with it but haven't gone as far as climbing up. It's got a nice big furry base were they have their catnip toys so they're all happy. It seems to be well made and believe me I am fussy! All in all a very good buy.

All other scratching posts pale in comparison to this one, a definite must for any cat owner

Our Maine Coon cat hasn't managed to knock it over even when running at it, though he almost did once... it's pretty stable.

My 6-7kg cat uses it, it's stable and holds up well.

My cats love the scratching post, especially the trunk. Mainly they use it for scratching, but sometimes they also lie on the base element.

Quite a large post and with a bigger diameter than others, so it's suitable for bigger cats. My tomcat loves it, so it doesn't last very long.

The scratching post is excellent. It's sturdy and, above all, stable. We have two cats at home and it lasts us about a year. The fabric at the top wears out a bit faster, but we don't mind that. After each one is worn out, we buy a new one, exactly the same. Highly recommended.

Very sturdy scratching post and just the right height for a slightly bigger kitty!

Still standing after 2 years! Our cat uses the scratching post regularly and really likes it, even though she now has a tall cat tree. It’s great for a proper stretch while scratching. Don’t let yourselves be put off – it’s been brilliant for us! Lots of people say bad things about the product, but for us it’s absolutely perfect! We’re completely satisfied and it does exactly what it’s supposed to. You should always make up your own mind!

Whether it’s a full body stretch, a seat on top, or some night-time parkour, this scratching post is fantastic!! It’s perfect for my little kitty Freya, and once she’s scratched her way through it, I’ll definitely be getting this one again.
