XXL Jumbo Scratching Post

The top part broke just two days after I bought it! The material is really poor quality.

At first glance, it looks like a big, sturdy cat tree, but don’t be fooled: the scratching part wears out really quickly. I have two small Persian cats who only scratch it a few times a day, and after just a few months, it already looks terrible. The fibres are hanging off everywhere. On top of that, the post isn’t ‘closed’ at the top: it’s just a little cap over a tube. My cat used to love climbing up and sitting on top of the post, but that’s not possible with this model. In short, worthless.

I ordered the scratching post because it's simple and just meant as a replacement. The material at the top tore very quickly and the cats also have a hard time pulling themselves up on it. Otherwise, it still looks good, but unfortunately it's no longer usable and you can't really fix it either. It should be made entirely of sisal.
