Applaws Kitten - cat dry food

My 8 cats have been enjoying Applaws dry food for months now,I would not use anything else.I have recently rehomed a kitten and she is enjoying Applaws kitten food.Zooplus are excellent,I cannot fault.

both my kittens eat it, though it is not their favourite. I still keep mixing it in since they do like it and I know it is good.

My fussy kitten doesn't even seem to recognize this as food. She hasn't eaten any of it, not even if I mix it in wet food. I have given up trying to feed dry food to her. If your cat is fussy, I'd recommend you start with some other dry food. This one does have a very high protein/meat content which is great, so if your cat does eat dry food this must be one of the best ones out there.

My 3 BSH kittens love this food; I've managed to convince my mum to use it on her 5 yr old BSH cat who also likes it. Interestingly since he's been on it he's lost weight, which must be down to the low levels of carbohydrates.

I have 2 Bengal kittens who just love this food. Its very palatable they always finish it. Its is worth the extra money to have your cat on a completly healthy diet that isnt full of additives.

I'm not a cat, but my two cats have stopped eating it. You can clearly see they've changed the texture of the product, it's obvious. I don't know if it's the taste or what, but they just don't want it anymore, and now I've got two 7.5 kg bags that they won't touch. Brilliant, they change the texture and flavour without anyone asking for it! After years of using this product, I've just cancelled my subscription. The crazy thing is, I bought the one from Mercadona and they wolfed it down straight away.

As for the ingredients, they're great, the only thing I would criticise is the size of the kibbles. The kibbles are so small that the cat can just swallow them without chewing at all. This leads to gulping in our case, which doesn't happen with another brand.

My kitten ate it from the very first day without any problems and his fur is shiny. I bought the 7.5kg bag after testing with a 2kg one. Unfortunately, I had him neutered and Applaws doesn’t have kibble for sterilised cats, otherwise I would have continued with their range when the bag runs out. Maybe they’ll release some in the future and I’ll definitely buy them if they have the same good ingredients!

Great cat food at a pretty reasonable price, my kitty eats it up very eagerly.

I feed this high-meat, grain-free food in my hedgehog feeding house. It’s well accepted and seems to be well tolerated too.

Maybe at first the cat liked it, but after fully switching to this food (previously mixed with the old one), she went on a hunger strike. She can’t chew it, the bowl just stays full.
