My cats love chasing games and this toy I purchased second time as the first one broke, quality changed unfortunately as the string is tangling itself after every movement, so it's becoming more playful for yourself (how quick you can untangle it) it's a shame

My cat goes nuts for the feather attachment that came with this toy and we love the extended length. Unfortunately the string is not elastic so it gets hopelessly curled and tangled on itself making is so you have to untangle it every couple of minutes.

Unfortunately, 2 out of the 3 toys were already broken by my two kittens in less than 24 hours. That's really a shame.

So when you buy this, the strings are coiled around the stick. When you uncoil them, the string constantly acts like a spring (you can even see it in the product pictures on this page) and you can play for about 10 seconds before the string gets completely tangled up. So for every 10 seconds of play, you spend 10 minutes untangling the string. The second star is only for the ability to quickly change the feather attachments.

My cat loves one of the heads on this teaser wand BUT... the string used is a nightmare... about every 2 minutes of play we have to stop to untangle the string or unwind it from the feather part. If you can live with that, it’s fine, but it’s frustrating for both my cat and me to have to stop and fix it all the time.
