Does the job!

I switched over to Nature Gold from Catsan Hygiene as it seemed kitties don't like the idea of wee staying in their box! Haven't had any accidents in the house since switching and it's great not having to do a complete litter change twice a week. I have , however, had to purchase a big Catit litter scoop as the clumps are absolutely huge! Shame as I think a lot of litter is wasted due to the size of the clumps. The clumps seem to crumble a bit sometimes as well. The odour control isn't as good as Catsan Hygiene, but a few strategically placed Neutradol room fresheners seems to have done the trick!

Brilliant!

I changed to this after using Cats Best Oki Plus, I thought this was great cat litter but the amount of time that I would spend vacuuming it from around the house was ridiculous. I changed back to a clay based product so that there wasn't as much tracking around the house but was getting really irritated with the mess that it made in the tray, how difficult it was to clean out and the lack of odour control. I decided that as a last attempt I would try Nature Gold. It's fantastic! There is very little tracking, it scoops out of the tray so easily and it tackles odours really well. To top it off, it looks a lot nicer in the tray as I have an open tray. I would highly recommend it.

5 stars for me and my cat

Really easy to remove when clumped, keeping the box clean and odour free. Not too dusty, and very soft for cat's paws. I'm actually saving some money with this litter, compared to the silica gel I was using before, and I get the benefit of the low impact on the environment =)

Cat's Best vs World's Best

I've been using World's Best litter for a year now for 2 cats with the only complaint being the tracking of dust. Always on the lookout for good value flush-able litter (especially since one cat pees more than I thought imaginable for such a small creature thus running through litter very quickly), I am now giving Cat's Best Nature Gold a try. At first I tried to mix it with World's Best and disliked it. But a warning, do not mix this with any other finer litter otherwise you end up with mixed cement-like clumps and a horrible sawdust smell. Now using it entirely on its own, I do prefer it to World's Best because there is no tracking at all though I have to be a bit more careful with the disposal. Yet to see if in the long run it is cheaper though.

best I've come across

This litter is great. It's a natural product, lasts a long time, doesn't smell and the clumps can be quickly disposed of in the loo instead of wasting plastic bags.

Best so far

We've tried loads of different cat litters and this is by far the best. The large pellets are easy to scoop, clump well and don't track very much. Other fine litters clump better but stick to paws and travel all round the house! Unfortunately, by the time we discovered this product, Pud had decided to opt for the great outdoors option, but we still buy for those wild days when he doesn't want to venture out.

Great Litter

We've been using this now for about a month and it's the best I've ever used. Before we were using the normal Cat's Best, which is also good for having no odour, but I found that it was too dusty and would track all over the house. It would get stuck in my cat's paws and then you'd find it everywhere. With this one you get all the benefits of Cat's Best but because the pellets are so big it hardly tracks. Of course you get a couple around the box here and there but it's nothing compared to smaller pellets or a sandy litter. And there is no dust for me or my cat to breathe in when moving it around. And no smell. It doesn't seem to last as long as the other Cat's Best (which lasted forever) but it's worth it to not have the tracking.

Purrfect for moggies to

So I started out on normal oko. And then was at a cat show and they had the gold stuff on special so I picked some up. The guy there was saying you just put back in all the unused litter after each clean of the tray, but I think that's pretty grim so I use a 10l bag every 10 days (2 boys share a hooded tray). Anyway, prior to this I was using normal Oko, and it had to be switched out every week without fail and I found it got quite powdery and dusty in there. With the Gold, it lasts longer between switchouts, tracks less, and a lot less of the dusty stuff after a few days in the tray. This is good as my cats are black, and one digs to Australia when dropping the kids of at the pool, so he used to come out covered in the dust. Anyway, how zooplus sells it in batches of the 10l bag is perfect as I struggled a bit with the 40l of normal Oko.

Still brilliant, but...

I wrote the review below when my Siberians were still fairly small... Now that they have grown enormously (Siberians are amongst the monsters of the cat world, in terms of size & weight), the weight that bears down on their paws in the litter tray does make some of the litter stick, so some tracking has become an issue after all. Nevertheless, it's still a great product, and I'm not swapping - just didn't want info that I've now discovered to be slightly inaccurate to stay uncorrected on the site. With small dainty cats, I'm sure that what I said before holds good!

The very best!

After having tried all sorts of different types of litter for my Siberians, this is undoubtedly the best (even better than the ordinary Cat's Best, where tracking was a desperate issue, although everything else about it was good). There is honestly NO tracking at all - we do get a few bits on the floor still, but that is through over-enthusiastic digging attempts to cover over the poo, not because it gets stuck to feet or fur, so we'd get that whatever litter we used. However, because the individual granules are larger than the average cat litter, they are also much easier either to pick or sweep up, and we don't have a carpet covered in tiny white specks all the time. It is wonderfully absorbent, so the clumps are easy to get rid of; it lasts for AGES, so is very economical (I reckon about half the price of even pretty cheap ordinary litter) and there is NO smell whatsoever. The fact that it's flushable is a boon too - although I must admit I still put some in our litter locker, as I don't want to overburden the drains. One of our cats was a bit reticent to use it at first, so I just added it bit by bit to his usual litter, and won him over gradually. Now he's quite happy with it and doesn't think twice about the thought of using it.

Great, BUT...

Oko's Best is still the best, (no smell, lasts for ages, great clumping, flushable!) BUT, as far as not tracking, I can say that it still gets stuck to the cat's paws and can be found everywhere, maybe a bit less than the original version, but still everywhere. Also, the pellets are bigger in size than the original Oko litter, and hurt more when trodden on barefooted! So, I will keep on buying the original, slightly cheaper, and overall better.

Couldn't be without it!

I have ragdolls cats and must of tried every litter on the market in the past 5 years. Since finding Cat's Best nothing else will do for indoor use. Yes it tracks but they all do, this hardly at all. It doesn't scratch furniture as some of the grit litters do. Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant thank goodness its back in stock!!!!!!!

Easy to scoop and ecological!

Great for eco-friendly people and easy to scoop(but not sure how eco-friendly the production method is to make it clump when wet??). Much easier to handle than non-clumping wood based litter. My cat does seem to get it everywhere but at least it tracks in pellet form and not sawdust everywhere like the non-clumping wood pellets. I have a long haired cat and it doesn't stick in his fur like the Oko-Plus flakes.

Great Product

This litter is one of the best I've tried that my cats will use - normally I find one that is great for me to scoop but my 3 cats won't give it the time of day. Doesn't track nearly as much as the less expensive version, although some bits do make it out of the tray. Clumps well and is good for odour too. Decent value for money as well. I'll definitely be buying this from now on.

Great Litter

We switched to this version because of the extreme tracking problems of the Oko Plus. Very good stuff, just wished it'd be in stock more often.

do not flush down toilet

I have eight cats and they love this litter including 2 Persians. But do not follow the advice that it can be disposed of down the toilet - at least not with a multi cat household as I have had to clear my drain. I also wish it was in stock when I need it.

OK but not great

I was over the moon when I found this litter - one that clumped and could be composted, supposedly didn't track out of the litter box and controlled odours. However, my only real gripe with it is that it does track out of the box, to the point that I have woken up in the morning to find my bed full of litter where one of my cats has climbed under the duvet to keep warm and I am always having to vacuum up litter from around the tray.

Great litter!...

We have a couple of long haired Norwegian Forest Cats and they loved using this litter; it has a fresh clean smell and doesnt scatter everywhere when they have finished using their litter box! Great stuff at a great price - will definately buy this again!

Cat litter worth recommending

I bought it to try it out. Cats are picky and I didn’t know if they would accept this kind of pellet. Very good litter. It absorbs and clumps very well, doesn’t create dust, and the cat doesn’t track it out of the litter box. All positives. I recommend it because I spent a long time looking for a replacement for Best Cat’s, which I’d been using for over 10 years.

Excellent for long-haired cats

Especially for long-haired cats, it's an excellent product. Very little tracking. Absorbs moisture well. No litter box smell. Even with 5 cats (multiple trays). I've been using it for years and I'm happy with it.

Good litter

After years of using silica litter and months of persuading my cats to switch to a more "eco" version, I finally succeeded. The litter is accepted, absorbs well, and dissolves nicely in water (I leave it for 3-5 minutes before flushing). I recommend it!

No smell

It comes out of the box on the cats' paws, but you can put a mat down. It doesn't smell, it's only been three weeks and I have two cats and two litter boxes. I like the product.

Good

They were great! But we noticed there are a lot of small pieces and it's sandy. It's a pity really, because now it's all over the floor, which wasn't the case before. Unfortunately, the quality has gotten worse and the price is high.

It's not what it used to be

I've been buying it for a long time because Sugus has asthma, and while looking for pellets with little dust, I found these. For years they've been great; I might find some dust at the bottom of the bag, but now there's dust from the very first time I pour it into the litter box. You can't lower the quality and keep the same price.

Very satisfied

Doesn't create dust, after a long search I finally found the right litter. My asthmatic cat has no more problems because it doesn't produce dust. Some gets carried out, but only very little. Suitable for long-haired cats.

best

We have two XXL Acaio litter boxes, placed in the old shower in the bathroom. It doesn't make dust, doesn't smell, absorbs well and most importantly – the cats don't track it around on their paws.

Decline in quality

I've been using this cat litter for many years. During this time, the price has skyrocketed and the quality has dropped significantly. On top of that, the quality is inconsistent—sometimes it's better, sometimes worse. For this price, they should really take care of the product's quality.

Best for cats

I've been using this litter for years. I ordered it again two weeks ago, but something has changed – it now looks like cardboard, and even when the cat does its business, it clumps together so much that it's almost impossible to sift with the scoop. If the next bags are like this too, I'll have to try a different litter. It's a shame they've managed to ruin something that was so good.

Best litter ever!

After 14 years with my Izzy: for us, this is the best cat litter! We've tried a lot and, shocked by the government-induced inflation, saw how everything—especially in the pet sector—suddenly doubled in price! After using ultra litter and 'normal' clumping litter that spreads all over the flat (just one room) and gets stuck between the little toes, these wood pellets are simply THE BEST. Economical, the few little droppings are quickly swept away, no dust syndrome, no residue on the tiles. We're sticking with it!*

Excellent but too expensive

One of the best cat litters I've ever tried, maybe even the best. It doesn't smell, doesn't spread dust everywhere, lasts a long time, clumps well, and can be flushed down the toilet without any issues. I used to buy only this one, up until a few years ago. Now I only use it in my little mountain house, where I can't keep the litter box on the balcony. The price has shot up over the years to a ridiculous and unsustainable level. What a shame!

Watch out for the weight

Warning: 20L (as listed on the website) is actually 10kg (what I received). And if you choose the recommended option, be careful, you end up with 10L, so 5kg. Not very clear. Anyway, apart from that, good product.
