Nice, but there are others that are better
We bought this because it is lower than our Catit one, and we have a kitten that cannot reach that yet. It is nice, but it came with a European plug which meant we had to buy a converter. It is also much louder than the Catit one. We track our power usage and it is definitely not efficient. If things like power and sound doesn't matter, I would say this is a good choice as it looks really nice and the kitten enjoyed playing with it.

My kitten loves this! He drinks more water than he ever did. It's easy to install & maintain. I would recommend this to my friends & colleagues.

I recommend it!
I was quite hesitant about getting the fountain. There were plenty of positive reviews, but also quite a few negative ones. In the end, I'm happy with it. The fountain is quiet, easy to clean, the cable is long enough for my liking, and the pump has been working without any issues so far. Plus, my tomcat learned to drink from it within two days.

It's a nice-looking model. The cat does drink from it. Unfortunately, the fountain is so light that the cat pushes against it and the water spills out. The floor gets wet, and the pump makes noise because there's not enough water left. You have to refill it every day, which defeats the purpose... You also have to clean it very regularly...

The fountain itself and its shape are fine. But: I think I've had about four of these already, and in all of them, the plug breaks after a while. While using it, you also have to clean the pump more and more often—sometimes it barely lasts 3-4 days. Unfortunately, this one fits me in terms of shape and cable length, so I'll probably buy another one...

I bought it 7 or 8 years ago and it still works for me, even though the pump has started to fail and, despite one of the impeller blades breaking off while I was cleaning it, it still worked for a few more years. I bought a stainless steel one, which cost me almost twice as much, but my cats don’t like it as much as the Cat Mate. Money pit drinking fountain
We bought the drinking fountain for our cats 2-3 years ago and they really love it! Unfortunately, ever since we got it, we've had to buy a replacement pump every 3-4 months, which, at around 5,000 HUF each, isn't really economical! Still inferior to external water sources
Bought 2L fountain to entice our increasingly outdoor-thirst-driven renal cat. After years of asking for shower water she discovered puddles (not the best). She adapted well to this quiet fountain (21yo) but it just became an extra water source & didn’t eliminate the outdoor problem. She went off it quickly right on the 1-mth mark when filter is recommended to be replaced. The biofilm starts building quickly. Unfortunately, she passed before we could order new filter, but will keep for next cat.
