MAC's Cat 6 x 400g - cat wet food

In recent months, unfortunately, it's been rejected more and more often. It often smells a bit strange too, and the cans are damaged. It's a shame—I'll finish up what I have left and then I'll have to look for alternatives.

The quality has really gone downhill over the past six months. You can see it, and above all, you can smell it too. It now has a slight odour of its own (it used to be neutral) and starts to stink very quickly. My tomcat often leaves some behind these days or doesn’t touch it at all. A minor issue, but with the last three bulk orders, almost all the tins were dented in some way. That really shouldn’t happen. We’re going to try the smaller tins for now. Otherwise, we’ll have to switch brands.

But after a month, they only eat it reluctantly. Even though I always switch up the flavours. The ingredients are good though, and both of them have lovely coats ☺️ Unfortunately, I have to keep looking now.

So far, this has been my cats’ favourite food, but they stopped eating it when we received a batch with the new packaging. The tins were a slightly lighter green. Apparently, it wasn’t just the design that changed, but the recipe too. Recently, I ordered again and the tins arrived with the old design, and my cats immediately started eating it eagerly, just like before. I’m afraid to order again because you never know which batch will arrive… I hope they realised they made a mistake and have gone back to the old recipe…
