I've ordered this product many times, my cats love it. Unfortunately, the packaging has recently changed and the packs are poor quality, many are no longer leak-proof! Result: food all over the box, a horrible smell, and I have to check each pouch, clean the ones that are intact, and throw away at least ten in the bin. I won't be ordering again.

In the last 3 orders, all of them arrived with torn packaging and a bad smell. On top of that, in just one year, the price for the same packaging went up by more than 50%. The product has neither quality nor value.

Since the packaging of the sachets was changed, we've constantly had problems with burst bags. When the goods arrive, the box is intact. Only after a few days does moisture appear at the bottom, and the pantry starts to smell. When all the sachets are checked, about 10 bags have to be thrown out because they've burst, and the rest are washed and dried. Even then, it can happen that some bags swell up over time because the tear was too small to notice at first.

My cats absolutely love this product, but with the last 4 orders, several pouches were always damaged, and of course the box was messed up too. Still, it doesn't change the fact that my cats only want to eat this food. Best regards.

A few sachets in the bulk pack were burst. The rest were soaked with what leaked out and had already gone off. The lady on the helpline offered a €5 compensation. That's nowhere near enough for all the mess and stink I had to clean off the other sachets.

I wouldn't recommend this product. 96 sachets in a cardboard Gourmet box. Sounds handy, but it really isn't. Some of the sachets were already torn or tear easily, which leads to spoiled food and a bad smell. Some sachets were so swollen it was ridiculous. Out of the 96, I had to throw away at least 25 because they were either ripped or swollen. It's better to go for a larger pack (if you want that), but with boxes of no more than 12 sachets each. Much easier to store. I'll never buy this Gourmet pack again.

My cats used to love Gourmet Perle. Now neither of them likes it anymore. I think something has changed in the recipe. Such a shame, because now I have to look for food they will still eat.

In my last 3 orders, up to 6 pouches were damaged each time. Manufacturer's fault, the box was fine. Disgusting and an expensive hassle.

Several packs were not properly sealed.

I had more than 20 faulty bags in one box. If you buy the box of 60, most of the bags are usually fine.

The packaging was crushed and 16 sachets were damaged, with their contents leaking into the box. A few sachets later turned out to be spoiled as well, they had swollen up. The main (bulk) packaging wasn’t damaged, so it’s not the courier’s fault—something must have happened during packing. It could also be due to poorly sealed sachets during production.

Four times, at different intervals, I ordered Gourmet Perle in jelly and the result was always the same: In the packaging, which was undamaged, there were between 5 and 30 torn sachets and the food was scattered all over the box. I complained every time and zooplus was very fair, but Nestlé doesn’t seem to care at all. The quality of the cat food in jelly is also poor. Huge, hard lumps, and now they’re even raising the prices.

Since the new packaging arrived, the packets have been bursting open one after another. In this box, a total of 7 packets were torn open.
