Zeus Cascade Stainless Steel Drinking Fountain

The Zeus Cascade Stainless Steel Drinking Fountain is the perfect solution for medium-sized and large dogs and cats that like to drink fresh, clean water. With a 6-litre water container at an ergonomic height, it gives access to fresh water at all times without having to bend down. The fountain uses triple filtration to remove impurities and keep the water clear and fresh at all times.

You can choose between two water flow settings to customise the drinking fountain to your pet's preferences. The stainless steel cover is not only robust, but also dishwasher-safe, which makes cleaning easier.

Cleaning the fountain:
Wash the drinking fountain once a week with a soft sponge and a mild detergent and rinse it. Be sure to rinse carefully so that no soap residue remains.
The cover disc can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

Cleaning the filter:
Remove the filter from the bottom section and rinse it. For optimum filtration, it should be replaced every 30 days.
Do not wash the filter with soap. 
If the filter contains impurities or other foreign matter, replace it (replacement filters are sold separately). Replace the filter every four weeks or as soon as there are signs of saturation with foreign matter (impurities, food residues, hair, etc.). More frequent replacement may be necessary depending on the living environment or water quality, as well as if used by several animals.

Cleaning the pump:
Please check the drive magnet ("propeller", "impeller") by removing it from the pump and carefully cleaning it with a cloth.
As tap water contains limescale, not only coffee machines calcify over the months, but also aquarium filters and even cat and dog drinking fountains. It is therefore advantageous not only to remove dirt from the drive magnet several times a year, but also to clean it with vinegar. The drive magnet looks like a propeller or rotor. Take a bowl and add a little vinegar to the bowl. Then dilute the vinegar with a little tap water and dip a cloth into the vinegar water. Use the damp cloth to carefully wipe the drive magnet and its surroundings clean. It is very important that all parts are thoroughly rinsed with tap water after cleaning, as vinegar and other cleaning agents are harmful to the animals.
Please clean the pump at least every 4 weeks. Please follow the instructions for use.
