I buy 2 10kg bags every month and my degus absolutely love this food, it is/was by far the best! Unfortunately, when i fed them last months bag they developed severe GI problems, the cages were a mess and i had to switch to a different food until their tummys settled. when i logged in and saw the change in recipe it confirmed i had already suspected. im trying to slowly re-introduce them to it now, hoping ill be able to continue feed them this but really wish they had not changed the recipe.

The degus usually love this but for some reason they don't like the stuff in the 10kg as much as the smaller 1.6kg bag. 😐

This is best degu daily food I found. I tried a lot of types before but they either have been pelets that my degus do not touch or not good for them mixtures ofsugary fruits and fatty seeds. I actually found about this one when researched rankings on line. I found specialist animal dietician report rating JR Farm's produce for degus very high. I buy it ever since and my degus love it:)

This is the best food for degus - it contains all necessary nutritients without harmful sugary stuff. And they like it so much.

For several years now, I've been buying this feed as a supplement to herbal mixes. Unfortunately, I have to say that the blend has changed for the worse. About 4-5 years ago, it used to smell of hay and peppermint, and had a relatively low proportion of grains, flakes, and pellets. Now, I have to pick out the various flakes and pellets by hand, because it would simply be too much for a healthy diet. And recently, they've even added carrots to the feed. Really disappointing.

I think the mix is good, but there are still a lot of pellets that my animals don't eat.

Large pack, perfect for breeders or owners with lots of pet degus. The quality varies – sometimes there are loads of pea flakes, other times wheat, flakes, hay pellets... but even so, it’s still the best base for a feed mix. Ideally, mix Feast with some pellets and extra herbs.
