We had to wrap the cage with wire mesh because the bars were too wide and my two rats escaped. It's spacious. Overall, I'm not satisfied—I had to stay up at night to make sure they didn't chew through the cables, and it just stressed me out.

The cage is generally very nice, but not suitable for rats—they really do escape from it in no time. After securing it with mesh for rodents, everything’s fine.
