For the price its an amazing and spacious cage which my rats absolutely love. Unfortunately the spacing between the bars is far too big for rats and they van escape. I solved this problem with mesh fabric and there havent been any problems since. Maybe if the rat is an adult it wont be able to escape but baby rats 100% can and will.

Just brought my rats home and into my excitement didn't realize just how large the space was. Now here we are desperately trying to get a new cage solution while my two rats fit their head through the bars.

Large cage for great price, but... there is so massive plastic smell. Hope it will disapear after time.

After half a year, my degus chewed up the plastic parts and gnawed through the bottom section. I find this cage unsuitable in this setup. There aren’t even any alternative accessories to improve it.

We had to wrap the cage with wire mesh because the bars were too wide and my two rats escaped. It's spacious. Overall, I'm not satisfied—I had to stay up at night to make sure they didn't chew through the cables, and it just stressed me out.

I have two male ferrets, one is 5 years old and the other is 4 months old, and neither of them had ever been in a cage before. But the little one had an intestinal blockage because he loves chewing on plastic. So I decided to buy a cage until he grows up and gets over it. The cage is very spacious and easy to clean. You need two people to assemble it. I don't understand why it has low ratings. The bars are spaced about 2cm apart, so it might be 'too wide' for rats and small female ferrets. Perfect for males.

Good evening, I'm writing a review about this cage. The cage itself is very spacious, which is a big plus. It's easy to assemble and the instructions are included. It's straightforward to understand, which is a great advantage. The only reason I've given it a lower rating is because the paint often peels off, leaving stains on the cage. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with this cage. 🥰

We bought a cage for our rodents to give them more space. After a week, they chewed through the plastic base and are now running around the flat.

Very nice, but the plastic bottom always falls onto the ground. This is a shame, as my animals run off like this, so they really need to do something about these problems.

I ordered this cage for my pair of chinchillas. The lightweight construction, large doors, and the option to open the entire side of the cage are great for cleaning the shelves. The lower quality of the shelf covers is a downside for me. I think that if the cage comes with covers, it would be nice if they stayed on the shelves better. This takes away from the overall good impression of the cage. Otherwise, the space and layout are sufficient for my intended use.

I absolutely cannot recommend this cage for rats. Young and even younger adult rats are constantly escaping because the bar spacing is way too wide. We had to add an extra protective mesh afterwards because it was just too dangerous. The quality of the plastic ramps is extremely poor: the attachments are far too flimsy. One ramp was chewed through on the very first evening, and the other broke straight away during assembly. A complete waste of money!

A cage that’ll do the job, but a bit pricey for the quality. I don’t think this cage will last long—the side doors are already starting to bend. And the bottom of the cage is a disaster: the base tray is way too easy for the animal to pull out, and they could even get their head stuck trying to squeeze between the tray and the bars to escape. I’m going to have to figure out how to fix a board to make it sturdier! Let’s just say this cage is only really suitable for a “calm” animal.

The cage arrived with the doors bent (we had to force them to close). Also, it’s not suitable at all for rats, as they slip right through the bars.

The hinges are a bit crooked, and the bottom tray could definitely be made from sturdier plastic. I would appreciate the option to buy extra accessories, like cage extensions and additional shelves. Otherwise, my chinchillas are absolutely happy with it.

It comes with all the tools you need to assemble it, really handy.
