My lanky doodle really fell on his four feet with this stuff
Thank goodness I did a bit of homework (at the brilliant allaboutdogfood.co.uk web site) when Archibald got terminally bored with the Burns he'd been reared on.
This Lukullis is everything the more positive and informative reviews say it is.
For starters you only have to see and smell the stuff to know it's good. One of the key factors to this is the fact that there's no grain in it and it's very low in carbo-hydrates, which I believe dogs have difficulty assimilating. And I imagine that as the food is cold-pressed rather than cooked into submission, this can only be good.
Being big and lanky and a bit ungainly in his gait, Archibald's normal lope wasn't all it could be, on a diet of overpriced and overrated product, which really fell short nutrition-wise. But a few weeks in with Lukullis and he has a real bounce and glide to his step now.
His poos are utter text book now, and his waist is really tapering well, without any weight loss. All of which amounts to persuasive evidence of the quality of this stuff.
It is clear to me that Lukullis is responsible for a big uplift in Archie's health and mood lately. No bloat, no excessive waste, full throttle appetite back again, more calm and level headed despite better energy levels (he gets a lot of exercise).... and demonstrative in his appreciation for the stuff.
Quote me on this: you will end up with a happier, healthier dog if you give them Lukullis.
I am looking forward to trying out the new Barbary Duck and Lamb variety on Archie next, having indulged him with the Charolais Beef & Trout variety.
Happy punter, happy dood.
