Belcando grain-free Adult poultry - dog dry food

My dog ate the Belcando Adult GF Poultry dry food, but only after it had been sitting in his bowl for a while, which is normal for him with dry food. He definitely prefers wet food; dry food is always his second choice. He tolerated it very well, with no signs of digestive problems. I would rate the price-performance ratio as fair to slightly inexpensive. Since I have only tested a small bag so far, I can't say anything about the long-term effects yet.

The dry food has a pleasant size and texture. My dog really liked the taste and tolerated it very well.

Hunter is very picky when it comes to dry food. The strong smell of fish is quite noticeable, which didn’t go down well with Hunter. He only tried it hesitantly. As a sole food, it wouldn’t be accepted by us. However, I find these trial packs very appealing for finding the right food for your dog.

I like that it’s a single-protein food, which is an absolute must for our allergy-prone dog. Our dog really enjoyed the food, we can definitely recommend it.

As a person, I find it smelly and kind of jelly-like, but my dogs loved it and that's what matters.

My dogs needed a bit of time to get used to the new taste, but now they eat it. Their digestion is good, so I assume it agrees with them. My dogs tend to react badly to the “wrong” food.

As part of a free product test, my Kira was allowed to try the dry food. The smell and texture are good, but she didn’t really want to eat it, so I tried using it as training treats and then she ate it. All in all, a good test and good food.

I'm amazed – my Labrador actually chews the kibble instead of just gulping it down. Premiere for him 😉 The food also makes a good overall impression. I'm curious to see how it goes in the long run.

We discovered Belcando through a product test and are now switching over step by step. So far, our dog likes it and her digestion is great too.
