The bait cushion and the line came off the rod as soon as the dog bit it. It would have needed to be a very small and gentle dog for it to hold together. I wasn’t expecting top quality for the price—I bought a cheap one just to see if my dog was even interested in the game—but it shouldn’t be this bad, even if it’s cheap..
