I bought these harnesses for my two border collies as their previous harnesses were rubbing the top of their legs. The fit is good but they do have to be rather tight round the chest to prevent slipping to one side and you do have to be careful when fitting on your dog to prevent trapping their hair in the buckle. Keep your fingers clear of the sides of the buckle when fitting otherwise you get a nasty blood blister. I do not use the harnesses during hot weather as they make the dogs sweat.

Bought these harnesses for my two rescue collie dogs. The Julius harnesses are well made from good quality materials. They show up in the dark and don't inhibit the dogs movement in any way. The only problem is the buckle on the chest strap which is very strong and can catch your fingers or trap the dog's hair so be aware - a protection flap would solve the problem of trapping the dog's hair. I recommend them, don't think you will find better.
