Despite measuring my lil pooch (about 4-5kg) the smallest size with 35cm back length was far too large for him, though that's also the approximate back length his other coats are. Such a pity as it was nice quality. The sizing is consistent at least among nomad tales dog coats as I bought two and they are both too big for our little guy sadly

My dog's back length is 40 cm and she weighs 6kg. Other customers mentioned that the sizing runs large, so I chose the 35 cm size. It was exactly what I needed. The fabric covers her whole neck and goes right up to the base of her tail. The elastic straps for the back legs, the front armholes, and the chest fit are all just right. It stays in place even in the wind and gives good protection from the rain. Washed and still looks like new.

Beautiful coat. Unfortunately, it's not suitable for a slim dog. I have a miniature dachshund. The length fits well. But the area around the belly, although adjustable, is much too loose for my dog. It just hangs on her. You'd have to get a tailor to take it in. Still, it's a lovely-looking coat. Sadly, just not right for us 😌

I really like it. Riva does too. It fits snugly and comfortably. I recommend it!
