The smell was very pleasant. The texture was just as he knows it and likes to eat it.

Whether my dog would tolerate it in the long run, I can't really say after just testing one bowl. The size is suitable for a small dog, per portion. The composition of the food is okay, but it could be better. Since animal by-products are used here, I wouldn't feed it to my dog. There's only 4% meat from turkey and veal each.
