Brit Lamb

The last batch (prod. 24.06.2026) arrived spoiled – the meat was blueish, there was a lot of fat, more empty space under the lid, and the cans were dented. My dog got diarrhoea and started vomiting. After 3 years, I won’t be buying again.

Spoiled, smelly, no colour

For the past 3 years, my chihuahuas have eaten only lamb and rabbit. The food used to have a lovely colour and smell, but this year you can really see a decline in quality. When you open the tin, it stinks or has no smell at all, the colour is grey, and it feels like the food is spoiled. The dogs don’t want to eat it, they walk away from the bowl. With several orders placed this year, there was always something wrong. The last order was a complete disaster – tins straight in the bin. I do NOT recommend!!!!

Grey and smelly meat

Unfortunately, the food seems spoiled, it smells incredibly bad, the meat is grey, and my dog refuses to eat it. I regret ever feeding this to my dog.

Avoid at all costs!

Unfortunately, once again I came across a spoiled batch of Brit canned dog food. Despite the good price, the quality has dropped below any acceptable level. This batch smelled like carrion! Poor dog.

Poor quality

I’ve been ordering Brit Mono Protein Beef for my dog for several years because he liked it the most and it suited his sensitive digestive system. Unfortunately, there are big changes now in the consistency (you can feel tiny bits of bone), colour, and smell. My dog doesn’t even want to go near his bowl and seems to “shudder at the very smell”. I’m disappointed because I thought this food would be the main part of his diet.

Worsened quality – it stinks

After a year, my dog stopped eating this food and would actually run away from the bowl. Honestly, the smell wasn’t great. I wasted over a dozen cans, opening one after another thinking maybe my dog was just being picky and would eventually eat it – but no luck. I had to switch to a different food, and now he eats the new one without any issues. I don’t recommend it.

Brit Mono Protein

Unfortunately, for quite a long time now, Brit (turkey) cans have been really poor quality. They smell bad, the colour is pale, and you can find fairly large pieces of bone in them. I have no idea what’s caused such a big drop in quality. I used to give them 5 stars, but now I’m giving just 1.
