animonda GranCarno Original Adult 24 x 800g - dog wet food

A few years ago, this was a really good pet food, on par with Dolina Noteci. Lately, though, there's a layer of lard at the bottom of Animonda cans, and the meat part also has filler mixed in, which wasn't there before.

The ingredients in this dog food have gotten much worse. I’ve been buying it for years and now I’ve noticed there’s more fat at the bottom of the can. My dog has diarrhoea! I wouldn’t recommend it.

My 13-month-old Labrador has had severe diarrhoea and gas after eating this food... it's very greasy.

Some of the cans are spoiled and smell awful when opened, so they have to be thrown out.

Before I could give it to my dog, I had to remove the big lumps of fat first. Disgusting.

This food is definitely not a quality alternative to products in the same price range. One of my dogs gets constant diarrhoea from it, while the other leaves his bowl full and follows me around, hoping to get something else. In his first year with his previous owner, he was only fed the cheap Globus product, which he actually preferred. The dog with diarrhoea reacts to jelly, fatty pieces and beef. Thanks to this brand, I finally figured that out.

I don't recommend it – my dog got poisoned, the food is full of fat and pieces of sausage. Rubbish, straight to the bin.

The food looks good, but my dog gets such bad diarrhoea from it, it's unbelievable. Please don't pay attention to the positive reviews, I really don't recommend it. My dog keeps getting food poisoning from it.

I ordered before and it was fine, but now my dog doesn’t want to eat it. I’m not surprised because there’s a massive amount of fat! Out of an 800g can, 200g is just a chunk of pure fat. That’s way too much.

The dogs stopped eating the food from the new order, even though they’d been eating it all the time for a year.

What’s going on? Did they start messing with this dog food? My dogs used to love it, and now they won’t even sniff it.

Some time ago, I stocked up on quite a lot of cans and I really regret it... The quality of the food has gotten so much worse – unground tripe, udders, skin, and “objects” I can’t even identify, plus a ton of fat at the bottom. It’s a shame I can’t attach photos. The dogs wouldn’t even touch the food and I ended up giving all the cans to the shelter (I have to admit, I didn’t feel good about it, because shelter dogs also deserve to eat well, not this poor quality).

Unfortunately, the dogs don’t want to eat this, the food just sits there until we have to throw it away. There’s a lot of fat at the bottom.
