I thought the liquid would be the same as the one that comes in the renal sachets, where you drink the liquid and leave the bits behind, and he likes it so much, but it turns out it must taste completely different and he doesn't like it at all. Not even when mixed with his favourite food.
Note: the phosphorus content is quite high for a drink that's meant for cats with kidney problems. This drink contains 1400 mg/kg of phosphorus, so a whole can has about 175-200mg, which is almost the same as the daily amount kidney patients get just from their special diet food!!
Because so far, out of all the renal wet food brands I’ve tried, Kattovit is the only one my cat actually likes. But unfortunately, he doesn’t want this broth at all.
