Natural Paradise Scratching Tree - Magnolia XL

When my tomcats were still kittens, the scratching post was sufficient and I still like the way it looks. Unfortunately, the Velcro fastenings on the cosy beds stopped holding after a short time. Because of this, both cats fell down with the top bed while sleeping and have avoided it ever since. Now that my tomcats weigh six to eight kilos each, the tree is also too unstable and wobbles a lot when they jump up. However, they still like to use the hammock and the lower sleeping area.

There are three things that bother me: 1. Not all the mounting screws are countersunk, so there are big screw heads under two of the cushions on the lying surface (really shouldn’t be the case for this price!). 2. Unfortunately, the tree isn’t particularly stable and this model didn’t come with a wall mount... when our cat jumps onto the hammock from above, the tree wobbles quite a bit... I’ve now weighed down the base plate with extra weight. 3. The play balls only hang down 2cm.
