Cat loves this.
My cat has lots of cardboard scratching pads - many more expensive than this - but she loves this one. It’s not very dense but that’s what she enjoys about it. You do need to vacuum a bit more but if my girl is happy, that’s all that matters.

Our boy loves it, to lay on it & to scratch. The pad has 2 sides so you can turn it upside down when one side is fully scratched

Cosma Cat Scratching Armchair Review: EXCELLENT!
My 11-year-old cat LOVES this type of scratcher! :D I've tried other kinds before, but this is her favourite! Until she shreds it down to a much smaller size, she also likes to lounge on it, but she uses it all the time, with both her teeth and claws. You can really tell she enjoys it. :)

Great for a kitten
The scratching post is small, so it's suitable for small cats or kittens. Mine is delighted and prefers this scratching post over the freestanding tension one. The cardboard quality is a bit weak, but you can't really complain for this price.
