XL Cat House with Scratching Pad Winter Edition

Hello, this is the second one I’ve ordered. Rea didn’t realise I was throwing out her old, chewed-up hut. The finishing on this one is better, and the clips fit more easily than the first version. However, there’s a persistent smell of ink or something—I’m not sure what—that’s quite bothersome, especially knowing how sensitive cats’ noses are. I hope it fades over time.

What more can you expect for the price? Our cat loves it. We're very careful with the plastic studs. But if the cat's happy, we're happy.

It's quite sturdy, with plenty of space and good rotation. The only weak point is the roof joint in the centre—it could use more reinforcement.

Easy to assemble and affordable. My kitten has always ignored scratching posts until now, but she goes into this little house without any issues, sharpens her claws, and even sleeps in it. We'll see if she starts ignoring it soon or keeps using it.

As my predecessors already mentioned, assembling it is difficult because the connecting parts didn’t fit at all. I had to push together the parts I couldn’t screw with a lot of force. My cats really liked the house and have already scratched it a lot. I can’t say anything about durability, but I don’t think the house would survive a jump onto the roof.
