Foul odour from cardboard insert
Easy to assemble however the cardboard insert has a really foul odour so item could not be used indoors as planned. Nice size and design, pity about the smell, item put straight into the recycling!

Great cat house 😻
My Maine Coon Marusya really love her new house. It’s good size for her. She slept all day inside.
Real let down
I thought this would be a lovely little house for my cats but it turns out to be VERY cheap and flimsy:
- Folds together nicely, but the plastic "nuts" you use to click and hold the item in place are unnecessarily difficult to get right
- Sides and roof are really thin cardboard and would easily break/fold/rip
- Scratching base is nice (the usual corrugated variant)
Overall, not really worth the cost.

Its great my cat loves it!
Not for large cats
My two Norwegian forest kittens totally demolished it in under 10 minutes, it took me longer than that to assemble! The kittens are only just 6 months old so nowhere near full grown, but this house was unable to withstand them jumping on it. Possibly be better for a smaller more sedate cat than my two. On a plus side it looks lovely and had it survived I would have been quite happy to have it in the living room, at least it was cheap enough.

Honestly, ever since I bought it, they haven’t stopped using it to play and scratch their claws. My three cats spend the whole day there, taking turns—sometimes two of them squeeze in together and play in their new little house 🐻.

XL Home Cat House with Scratching Mat
The cat loves it, but unfortunately the mounting with those plastic 'screws' is terrible. If the cat jumps out of the house with a bit more force, the mounting gives way and the whole thing falls apart.

Waste of money
Total disaster. The house fell apart after just one day. It's really hard to put together. Those plastic screws are a joke. They don't fit at all and won't screw in. In the end, everything comes loose and the house tears apart. For this kind of money, the quality is zero. It's unstable. The free one I once got with pellet from Castbest was miles better and lasted for months.

Better than the last one

Perfect for a cat with hypoplasia
My cat isn’t able to jump onto vertical scratching posts, and those cardboard ones on the floor weren’t good for him either because he kept falling over. With this one, he’s constantly running around, sleeping, and scratching. It’s honestly a miracle – the first scratching post in 10 years that he can use properly. The only downside is that the little buttons holding the walls together come undone easily – I’m giving a minus for that because every day I have to look for those buttons around the room.

Would be 5 stars if spare parts were available
Great scratching post that also doubles as a bed: my cats are happy to use it for sleeping too. It would be perfect if it were possible to get a replacement for the inside part of the little house, without having to buy a whole new one every time.
