Hill’s Prescription Diet c/d Urinary Stress + Metabolic - Chicken - cat dry food

My cat was doing well on original reduced val formula but his appetite increased on this and he gained weight. He seemed to be hungry all the time I switched back to the regular recipe. Hunger level same as on metabolic. Urinary issues have remained absent I Changed to a timed feeder in late December, to try to make sure I don't overfeed.

My cat was doing great on cd stress reduced calorie but since it was discontinued I changed to this formula. He started peeing in the house again within the first 2 weeks. I changed to cd stress regular formula hoping that he is not going to gain extra weight. Also the lack of glucosamine in cd +metabolic is also a huge downgrade .

For cats with dental problems, or missing molars/teeth, I don't recommend these—they're disproportionately large and the shape is unsuitable, kind of pyramid-like... and honestly, not great for cats in general! I don't know if you'll publish this, since you reserve the right to choose what gets posted or not, which is pretty subjective, but I think it's only fair that, given how expensive they are, people should be informed before buying! My tomcat can't manage to eat them.

The food itself is perfect, nothing to complain about—I've been using it for years, 5 stars. But because of poor delivery by DPD, I had to wait two and a half weeks for my order. Not the first time, by the way. I hope things improve, otherwise I can get this food quicker and with less hassle and frustration from my local pet shop. In that case, zooplus will lose a loyal customer.
