The kitten kibble smells (stinks!) much worse now. The cats aren’t really into it anymore either. The taste/smell seems to be in some sort of coating on the kibble now instead of mixed through? The pieces are too small to really see, but with the adult kibble it’s definitely the case, and that also stinks a lot more. The cats are much less enthusiastic about it, so I guess I’ll have to look for another brand again… Such a pity!

New formula: bad choice
I switched from Orijen to Purizon back in the day and was happy with it for years, until now: the kibble now has some kind of coating where the flavour is. That’s the first thing to dissolve. When the cats throw it up, you see pale, mushy kibble in a dark brown, strong-smelling sauce. It comes across as cheap. They eat it, but not with any enthusiasm. So I guess it’s time to switch to another brand again, because this just isn’t it.

New kibbles

Bad change
Started with this because the quality was amazing and it was the only thing my ragdoll would eat. The large kibbles were perfect for a big cat. The previous bag was already a bit lower in quality, and the new one is even worse: now they’re tiny little pieces and he won’t eat it anymore. Thanks a lot… now I’m stuck with 6.5 kilos of this rubbish.

Here too, the negative experience with Purizon Chicken/Fish after the change (different colour kibble etc., and a slightly different packaging (without a resealable closure and significantly fewer kibbles in the same bag), reduced appetite and diarrhoea. After a refund from Bibita and ordering from Zooplus, I received the original batch (still in stock) with a zip closure. Appetite returned, stools were good. Then another new bag of Purizon, the modified version. Same problems again. Now looking for a good alternative. Does anyone have suggestions?
