zooplus Basics Wave Scratcher

My cat is 15 years old and I think it's tough for her, and I also think the shape doesn't help either. I've put CatNip on it, both the one that comes as a gift with the scratcher and the one I have at home, and she sniffs it and plays around with the scratcher, but as for actually using it, nothing.
