Bib is really picky, doesn't play with just anything, but as soon as she sniffed this for the first time, she started tugging, tossing, and hunting it. She licks it, chews on it, and plays with it. It's a brilliant way to keep her busy for a while.

Our tomcat recently had dental surgery and we were looking for something to help him relax, since he has to get used to missing some teeth. It's definitely a success because he spends ages with it, especially licking it. I'll definitely order it again next time.

My cats are really drawn to matatabi, and this toy in particular is a big hit. They like it much more than the simple sticks or matatabi lollipops. One of my cats has a little "session" in his tunnel every evening. He comes out so relaxed. It's true that the skewered fruits break after a while, but that doesn't stop the cats from enjoying them—they still love sniffing and licking the pieces. So you shouldn't throw the toy away when the fruits come off.

He used to ignore sticks completely. Later on, he got really excited about the matabi sticks with string wrapped around them. He plays with them so happily and playfully, just like a kitten (even though he’s 10), but I didn’t expect him to react so wildly to these. It was almost like there were drugs in them 🤭. Now he’s totally relaxed and sleeping with his paws resting against it. The perfect toy for tomcats who sometimes get a bit tense. All matabi sticks are natural, so they’re meant to be chewed and destroyed.

Great toy, my cat is totally absorbed by it. She (my first adopted cat) is really picky, doesn’t even react to catnip or valerian root, but she loves this and anything that’s Japanese mini-kiwi.

The product is really good, but I think it should be made clear in the description that the soft middle part breaks easily. Still, you don’t need to throw it away – just let the cats keep chewing on it. I’ve bought it twice because the first time I thought it was faulty (since the middle part broke so quickly), but then I saw some comments and videos from other people with cats who’ve used it, and realised that’s just how it is.

It worked really well, he licks it, cuddles it, and pats it for a long time. He even dozed off with it, resting his head on it, then carried on kicking around.
