Frustrating that the cats pull out; seed, root and all. Any tips for me?

It looks nice. There's a lack of a reasonable guide when it comes to proportions. I also didn't really like how the silicone anti-slip mat was all crumpled up, since you can't straighten it out. I'll see how it goes in a few days.
