Wonderful for weight loss!
It took a day or two for my 3 year old cat to figure it out but after that she started using it and obviously enjoyed doing so. The greedy tubby older cat learned how to use it from the younger cat. Previously she would demolish both bowls of food in record time, leaving only a little bit for the other cat. We tried different ways of feeding her as she had gained a lot of weight but none of them were successful until we tried this! She has to work for her food and can not gorge herself .

YES buy it (not just for kittens)
Bought 2nd for pensioner's Xmas gift, quite entertaining to watch & keeps kitty busy for a bit. 7 y.o. male Siamese type LOVES IT. He's very active & part hoover (VERY food motivated.) Sister pretty much the opposite, but she'll use it in between mealtimes on occasion (nice if she does get hungry she has access to a bit of dry.) I used sticks out the side & kept shortening them till they got the idea.

Our Ragdoll approves
He's been playing with it for over 2 weeks now and I think he likes it :D
That being said, I'm not sure how the other Food Tree from Catit is different, cause on pictures it looks the same, and is half the price, so if I'd knew about the old version before I got this one, I'd go for the cheaper one :)

Great fun
Great boredom buster! My boys love this and play with it all day. I fill it with their dry food as most cats like to work for their food rather than having a dish put in front of them. Big enough holes for their paws and big enough base so it doesn't topple. Both my cats use it at the same time and it's great fun to watch them too. You can turn the centre section to make it easier/harder for them to get food or treats
