Overall, the fishing rod is actually good. The dragonfly even got my lazy old cat to play and hunt... BUT both the METAL CORD and the METAL FASTENING are absolutely unsuitable for cats. The metal cord and the metal loops that attach the dragonfly to the cord are dangerous for paws and teeth, because a canine tooth or claws can fit right through! It's also not good if cats bite on metal. I've now wrapped them with adhesive-free plaster.

My little tomcat went absolutely crazy for it and managed to break the dragonfly in about 5 minutes (there’s some wool or something on it, and it unravelled in no time at all). It would be great if the thing would at least last a few weeks and if you could buy replacement dragonflies.
