Not well thought out and dangerous

Overall, the fishing rod is actually good. The dragonfly even got my lazy old cat to play and hunt... BUT both the METAL CORD and the METAL FASTENING are absolutely unsuitable for cats. The metal cord and the metal loops that attach the dragonfly to the cord are dangerous for paws and teeth, because a canine tooth or claws can fit right through! It's also not good if cats bite on metal. I've now wrapped them with adhesive-free plaster.

The best fishing rod

Dragonfly fishing rod

The cats love this fishing rod toy. Even when they got bored with other toys, this one always got them playing. The secret is in the dragonfly that the cats want to hunt. One star less for the steel wire the toy is attached to. In my opinion, it's not very safe.

A bit fragile but very popular

Best fishing rod ever!

I've already tested a million cat wands, but this one is an absolute hit. We already have a second one because the first one got destroyed. Dragonfly broke in less than 5 minutes

My little tomcat went absolutely crazy for it and managed to break the dragonfly in about 5 minutes (there’s some wool or something on it, and it unravelled in no time at all). It would be great if the thing would at least last a few weeks and if you could buy replacement dragonflies.

The cats love it!

Thanks to the lifelike design of the "bug", our cats absolutely love it! :) They could chase it for hours and jump for it in the air like real acrobats :D The experience feels even more real because the "bug" isn’t attached to the fishing rod with string, but with an almost invisible fishing line. So it really looks like it’s flying in the air :) Quality stuff, I honestly can only recommend it :)

Poor quality

Unfortunately, I find the wire too dangerous after all. Also, the fishing rod broke after just one use. The blue fabric is a fluffy thread that's glued on and comes off very quickly. It's a shame, because the rod is actually really popular. However, I wouldn't buy it again.
