Tigerino Performance XL-Grain Sensitive Cat Litter – Unscented

Bad clumping so very smelly litter boxes

This litter is extremely dusty, it's horrible every time you pour it in the litter box or scoop. The clumping falls apart so easily when you're scooping. I wouldn't recommend it.

The only good thing I can say about this litter is its absorbency... it creates a ridiculous amount of dust. It's extremely fine-grained, probably the finest cat litter I've seen so far.

This cat litter is anything but coarse-grained, so if that's what you're looking for, don't choose this type. I've just filled up the tray, so we'll see how much gets tracked around the house on their paws.

This is by far the worst Tigerino cat litter we’ve tried. Despite the claim of XL grains, the granules are small (even smaller than standard Sanicat). When pouring, a huge cloud of fine clay dust appears—more than with any other cat litter we’ve ever used. The Multi Cat XL-Grain has larger granules and virtually no dust. The Multi-Cat Standard had too much tracking. Even the fine-grained Premium Sensitive was much better: low in dust and with limited tracking.

A few months ago, I ordered this litter and it was finer than most “normal” litter. They assumed it was a production error and refunded part of the purchase price. So I thought, okay, let’s give it another try. I need XL-Grain litter without any fragrances, so sensitive. Unfortunately, it’s extremely fine again. Seems like it’s being advertised incorrectly and is misleading. Annoying, so I’ll have to switch to competitors and buy elsewhere.

I used to use this litter because it clumped really well, but they've changed the bag design and also the quality. It doesn't clump anymore, everything just falls apart and makes a mess of all the litter.
