Good for travel/temporary use
Kitty and I go on holiday to stay with family for a while every Christmas. I normally use another litter in my own flat but when going away I like to use these packs - bit more pricey than some litters but hey, she's on holiday! Makes cleaning the tray out after 10 days (if you scoop regularly it does keep longer than a week) much easier and with much less complaining from family members about smelly bins and litter on the floor after cleaning. The absorbent pad I end up removing after about 4-5 days, don't know whether my cat eats asparagus or what but her wee is seriously stinky and the pad thing reeks very quickly. You can take it out though. A good convenient way of keeping your tray clean.

Catsan
I do like Catsan though I have a messy tomcat who still managed to get the elastic over the rim of the litter tray, it needs to be less slack and the top sides need to be longer because the litter managed to get into the tray. Nothing to say about the litter itself because it's tried and tested. Does spill out but it's dust free and does soak up urine though it doesn't stop the faeces from smelling!

Makes life so Easy!
LOVE these. Was recommended by a friend and has truly made life simple. You simply unroll and lay in the tray. Really good clumping litter that seems to last really well. And when done it is merely a matter of pulling the strings together and disposing, much like a bin bag.

Excellent stuff
The person who invented this product should get a medal. I fully endorse all the other comments. I have three cats, all female. One is 11 years old. She goes outside to play but prefers to use the indoor toilet! The other two are 1 year old sisters recently acquired from the Cat Protection. They are being kept indoors until they have settled down. Two litter trays are in use and the Catsan lasts 5 - 6 days. It is very easy to use: no constant cleaning of trays and it only takes a few minutes to change the litter. Absolutely wonderful!

revolutionary
We've been using this product for a quite a while a now and although it is rather pricey when we worked out the cost of the cat litter we went through each week it is not much more expensive than buying loose catsan..... perhaps 20p per roll dearer. This is down to the efficiency of the rolls. The absorbent pad at the bottom soaks up the urine locking away smells and any faecal material can easily be scooped out. This makes each roll last longer than a tray with just plain cat litter in it.
Odour control is amazing (we have -had- 5 indoor cats and everyone who comes to the house is amazed when they realise how many cats there are (were). The house has no litter tray smell at all.
The best part of it all for me is the ease of cleaning the litter tray, all over in a few seconds with no mess.

Well worth the money!
I wouldn't buy any other sort. OK, not the cheapest but considering Value For Money when adding in my time too, it is well worth it. I have two male indoor cats so the litter tray is well used put it that way, but this minimises odours and they are very happy using it

Sould have read instructions
I should have read the instructions on the pack before i opened it,i treated my kitten to a new covered litter tray and a 3 pack of Catsan litter, and i cut open the pack and it spilled all over the kitchen floor,i didnt realise the bag was a tray liner too,so spent the next hour sweeping it up while my kitty was running through it playing with it,all sorted now,and it looks good,i hope she will go in the covered tray, will write again after shes used it

Catsan Smart Pack - Easy solution
I have a young kitten and live in a flat. I tried 3 different cat litters before finding catsan smart pack. Its simple retains the smell well and can be used for 1 week without looking or smelling messy.
Its a few pennies more than catsan litter by itself but this is definitely worth it for the ease of use.
Top marks!

Works a charm
Have been using this for quite a while and I must say that it works brilliantly. If you, like me, enjoy using your time for more constructive/relaxing events, this is just the thing. Quite pricey but well worth the money. No need to continuously clean your cat litter box.

Clean, odour-free, simple to use, lasts all week, easy to dispose of
The Catsan smart pack is a wonderful innovation and has taken the "nastiness" out of having an indoor litter tray. It fits easily into my large covered tray; there don't appear to be any odours at all (which is marvellous!); I can simply scoop out the solid waste as it occurs (or daily) and the granules and absorbent pad do the rest. The cat's paws are never wet and the litter stays fresh looking and, crucially for cat owners and visitors, it smells of nothing - thanks to the absorbent pad and granules - for 5 - 7 days (based on 1 cat), making it pretty cost-effective. It's easy to dispose of at the end of the week, thanks to the liner bag and elasticated drawstring. Only negative: the litter does start to get a bit powdery and more sparse towards the end of the week, so there's less for the cat to bury waste in. This product really has eliminated litter tray gripes in our house - along with litter smells - and the only real downside to owning a feline has disappeared, for which me and my cat are eternally grateful.
