Cat's Best Universal

I was advised in a pet shop to get this litter sadly its not that good when it comes to clumping, wee stays soft almost fragile as you trying to scoop, and talking about smell neutralizing.... well, the smell of cat poo stays so strong that you'll need a sented candle or a spray to get rid of it. And you can see bits of litter all over your floor and guess which way your cat went after....

The litter itself of a good quality, but too chunky for cats. The spoiled litter breaks up in powder, and it is difficult to clean up.

This should be listed under small pets for rabbit litter as well as it can be and is veery suitable as small pet litter because it doens't clump and is biodegrable. It isn't as abosrbant as other brands of the same type, it seemed as if only the outside absorbed it never reached the inner parts. I got it delivered to Ireland so albeit was a longer journey but when it arrived it had spilt and some of it had spilt...........needs to be packaged better.

Indeed, it gets dusty with urine, not very practical. But it does the job and it doesn't bother my cat at all.

I ordered it by accident, just saw Cats Best and thought, yeah, sounds good. When I filled the litter boxes with it... well, the pieces are bigger than I expected. My tomcat doesn’t really like them. Every now and then he pees in the bathtub instead. But in my madness I ordered four bags. Now I just have to get through them. And yes, they crumble into dust and it smells like cat pee. It’s a shame, because when you first fill it up, the flat smells like wood. The great thing is that it’s very natural.

Unfortunately, the granules turned out to be very small. I also bought a Trixie sieve litter tray; the granules fell straight through the sieve right away. Now I either need to get a litter tray with a finer mesh or a product with larger granules.
