Biokat's Diamond Care Sensitive Classic Cat Litter

I thought I'd give this one a try too, but I definitely won't be buying it again. It covers up smells well, but: 1. It makes a lot of dust, so the cats' fur, their paws, and the floor are always dirty. 2. It's very fine, and the cats drag loads of granules out of the litter box. I even have a mat in front of the box, but it doesn't help much. 3. The clumps are really brittle, so it's impossible to scoop up all the leftovers from the litter. Even if you leave the clumps for a few hours to harden, they still break apart when you try to pick them up with the scoop.

It’s very dusty, clumps at first but then just smears across the bottom of the litter tray. The last batches were just fine sand with way fewer bits of activated carbon. I’m disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it.

The quality has gotten much worse, and the price has shot up twice as much… I definitely won’t order again, it’s just not worth it.

Some time ago, I rated the litter as good. Different batches arrived—sometimes the litter was good quality, other times the quality was weaker, but still acceptable. The latest delivery looked like dirty sand, with noticeably fewer grains of activated carbon. I thought I’d found a litter I could stick with. The only thing that’s still somewhat okay is clumping. If the quality stays like it was in the last order, the current price is definitely way too high.
