Disappointed
I bought the pet door&hub as I read that you could control access for individual pets. It advertises that you can do this through the app- giving the example of having a sick pet that you need to keep indoors, whilst still allowing others to go out. This is not a feature! I can only lock/ unlock the pet door for all pets registered. My cats have not been using the door at all yet as they are wary of the noise+new design compared to their previous one. I’m hopeful that they’ll come around in time
Fantastic Flap, absolutely love it
We have had this connected cat flap for 3 months and absolutely love it. We upgraded from the sureflap microchip cat flap and are so happy with this new product. Fitting was pretty straight forward and the set up of the internet side of things was easy, seamless and has worked perfectly since installation. It is so reassuring to be able to monitor our cats comings and goings no matter where we are. A Definite Five Stars from us

We installed this flap for our cat and it works great. You get messages on your phone, if and when your cat leaves and enters the house.
The flap is of good quality and locks out any unwanted animals without a matching chip.
I would buy it again!

Since I travel a lot for work, sometimes overnight, this flap is a great addition to my home.
Now I know even when I'm away if my cats are ok and if they are safe at home.

Great idea and concept but obvious issues with WiFi & connectivity
I loved this idea and initially it worked ok. But I had to buy a tp link adapter (over mains adapter for WiFi connection) as the WiFi would not reach to the utility where I placed the door. It worked intermittently to start. Am still having discussions back and forth with their support team to resolve. Feedback..electrical interference, and try moving to an other room. My response......is there any room in any house without some electrical gadget, so almost impossible. The saga continues

For this price, I really expected it to have a rechargeable battery, but instead you still have to use batteries, and a size that no one ever has at home. The part that hangs over the tray, in my opinion, hangs very low. My cat doesn't dare go under it, even after weeks of trying. Really a shame for such an expensive tray.

Money down the drain, unfortunately
For this price, I really expected it to have a rechargeable battery, but instead it runs on batteries—and not even a standard size, but one that hardly anyone has at home and is only sold in DIY stores.
I also find it really disappointing that the chip section can't be adjusted in height. It hangs very low, so the cats have to really crouch down to reach the food. Unfortunately, mine just won't do that, even after weeks of trying.

I have two cats. One of them has an older version of this feeder and it works perfectly. It closes quickly when she leaves. The new one I bought for my other cat, who needs veterinary food, takes much longer to close (even on the fastest setting!)
It takes more than 5 seconds before it even starts to close! The first cat figured out on day one that if she queues up, she can eat the rest of the food, which is basically all of it. So the new feeder is completely pointless.

The wet food stays fresh all day
I've been using this feeding bowl for years now. Very satisfied. I work during the day and my cat eats small amounts throughout. I've been using feeding bowls from this brand for over a decade now and never had a problem unless it was caused by the user themselves (connection issues due to electromagnetic interference, metal, etc.). Happy with the end result even though getting there was a bit tricky.
Order the mounting adapter straight away if you have metal in your front door, as the metal interferes with the chip reader. I first tried adding an extra air gap at the top, but eventually gave up and bought the adapter so I could cut a slightly taller hole in the door (I didn’t make it any wider).

I’m writing this even though I don’t think you’re as silly as I am... I tried out the cat flap in my old house before moving and everything was fine. In the new place, as soon as I installed it on the glass door, I realised it stuck out too much and stopped the shutter from coming down. This is really a bad cat flap. It was the first one we bought, and we seriously regret not just getting a cheap one for 100kr that has the same functions (though manual and without an app). Where’s the insulation?
I’ve just installed the cat flap.
I already had the Hub because I bought the “smart bowl”, which I have to say I was really happy with.
However, this system was installed in a newly built house with an A+++ energy rating, and it was very disappointing to discover that there’s no insulation at all. I installed several extension pieces, since my wall is 30cm thick plus the insulation layer.

I bought the SureFeed Connect without the hub at first because I wanted to get used to the feeder on its own. I got the hub a few weeks later (it’s definitely an investment!). Based on the reviews, I had a few concerns but the setup was easy. The hub is in my living room and the feeder is in the kitchen, about 8 metres apart, and it works well.
